Enzo954
So I'm seriously considering the 1000 or 3000 because I need a low profile (under 5 inches) DP to fit under my desk. I've seen a handful of complaints that the keys start clicking after a while. I went to my local Guitar center yesterday and they had a 1000 on display. The black keys in the middle section of the keyboard had the exact problem that I've read about. I asked the salesman and he said that it does that because it gets used so much as a floor model. The other floor models from other manufacturers didn't have this issue so that didn't seem like a legitimate excuse. Are there owners of this model on here who have had this unit for at least a year without any issues?
Bobbo
I have had a PX-S3000 since February 2020 and haven't noticed any noisy keys. I'm not a hard user, though. I average about 20 minutes of playing a day, and I usually have the keyboard Touch Response set at Light 1.
Enzo954
Well I bought a brand new PX-S3000 from Sweetwater and some of the keys are making a clicking sound. I'm so frustrated!!! 522666282_Px-S3000Keynoise.mp4
silent
Hmm... this seems to be normal, it happens with my WK-1800 on some of the keys as well.
Casiofun
Sounds normal to me. I don't hear any clicking in your recording. Weighted action will make noise like you are hearing.
BillErickson
Clicking is a know problem with the PX-S models. Check out this earlier thread:
