ahutnick
Recently I noticed on my PX-S3000 the C above middle C reaches maximum velocity with less force than any of the other keys. This is especially noticeable when using the PX-S3000 to play Keyscape from it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Joe Muscara
It's probably dirt in the sensor/contact. Brad likes to suggest blowing compressed air between the keys, though I've never tried it. If it doesn't work for you, blame him, not me! I'll take the credit if it works though. I would think blowing compressed air and working the key at the same time might be best.
Mike Martin
99% of the time this is caused by dust / dirt. Give the compressed air a shot. If you gig outdoors, the other culprit is small bugs. 😝
ahutnick
Thank you Mike and Joe for your suggestion. It probably is dust. I will go buy some compressed air later today and let you know how that goes.
Solution ahutnick Posted October 25, 2021 Author Solution Share Posted October 25, 2021 I was finally able to get some compressed air today as the one place I could find any in stock only had a pack of 4 for sale. The compressed air did the trick and thank you again Mike and Joe for suggesting that I try that
