My Casio Previa PX-860 won't power on.

My Casio was working fine, then one day it wouldn't power on. I took the power cord to a local shop (it seemed worn), they confirmed it has plenty of power. I brought it back, plugged it back in, tried and the piano will not power on. The school purchased it about 4-5 yrs ago, so it's not too old. Help??

when you said you took took in the power cord,  do you mean the whole power adaptor unit?

Mine just stop working too, it's the power adaptor that does not work.  I am looking to get it replaced.  Part number is ADE24250.
