shawk
I recently bought a PX S3000 and have been loving it, but as I'm prepping to gig with it for the first time I realized that when I use a line out, the internal speakers still play out. If I turn down the volume knob on the keyboard, it also turns down the volume out of the PA. How can I use a line out and mute the internal speakers? Thanks in advance. Dr Livingstoned
Hi Shawk, Yeah I had some questions about this too. It seems that there are some good reasons for this choice. But you can use a dummy plug (plastic plug) in the earphone jack to mute the speakers. I found this comment very usefull: The line out is working but that was never the problem. The problem is why did Casio design it so that the internal speakers still sound while the line out jacks are connected to an external audio system. PA system for example. The fact you have to plug in headphone or a dummy plug to the headphone jack for external use seems wrong. Oh well, such is life. The whole thead here : Or this is even better : Edited June 19, 2022 by Dr Livingstoned
