genesis1
Casio PX S3000. I know I'm looking ahead here, but I also know the rubber contact sensor strips wear out. So with that in mind. Where could one get hold of replacements and do they use a standard strip that is used by other manufacturers?
Joe Muscara
While I have heard of them needing to be cleaned (sometimes, not to everyone), I have not heard of these ever wearing out. Some of us have some pretty old keyboards with these and they're still going.

Some of us have some pretty old keyboards with these and they're still going. That's good to hear. I have seen online with other brands that people have needed to replace the rubber contacts even after cleaning sometimes. However, nice to hear they can last a long time. This is my first weighted keyboard. My previous Casio WK3000 which is very old but still working is not a weighted keyboard. I mostly use it as a midi controller nowadays. So far loving my new PX-S3000.
