Coffee1970 Posted October 1, 2022 Share Posted October 1, 2022 Hello, A bit of a newbie question. I have the XW-P1 connected via USB to iMac. Using Reaper as the DAW. I have 5 VST plugins as 5 different tracks. Is there a way to easily change the MIDI out channel on the XW? Example: Track 1 synth is assigned to receive MIDI channel 1. Track 2 synth is assigned is receive MIDI channel 2, and so on. If I want to mess around playing various synths on track, without grabbing the mouse, can I assign a knob and turn it to change the MIDI channel out from the XW? (I hope that all makes sense). Chas Posted October 1, 2022 Share Posted October 1, 2022 IIRC, when you change some aspects of MIDI control in the XW'S, you have to restart the keyboard before they take effect.
