I have a Casio WK-7600 and it's been packed away for months. Bought it on eBay and it only came on twice and just wouldn't come on again. When you depress the power button the screen lights up but the doesn't stay on.

Tried making contact with Casio and after much tries I was referred to Casio in Puerto Rico as the nearest dealer to me. I was happy for finally being able to get somewhere I could send the Keyboard. I called the dealer and they told me from Puerto Rico that they only deal with cameras and watches.

After about 4 months I decided to pull it off the case and see how it was looking.  When I depress the power button it worked normally for about a month. It's been 5 months now and it just won't come on at all again. doing the same thing like before.

So I have a brand there and still hoping to get that issue resolved. I would appreciate the help of anyone as to whom or where can I get hat issue resolved.

Thanks

I too am a newbie and this is my first message to anyone. I see it's been a year since your post and I hope that you have already found help for your problem. If you need help, I may have an answer for you.  I have a WK7600 and have logged over 5000 hours on it and still learning more everyday. I have 2 possible items for you to try.

1. you could be looking at a faulty A/C Adapter or by chance if you happen to have batteries installed that are dead and are interfering with the A/C adapter.  If no batteries exist then maybe the adapter is faulty.

2. If someone may have attempted to perform an operation while the "PLEASE WAIT" message was displayed, may have caused an internal problem. Only after confirming the adapter and battery situation should this next step be tried.

WARNING, the following procedure WILL RESET THE KEYBOARD BACK TO FACTORY SETTINGS.

WHILE HOLDING DOWN THE R-2 (B) E.PIANO AND THE R-5 (E) STRINGS BUTTONS, PRESS THE L-1 (POWER) BUTTON TO TURN ON THE POWER.

This is directly out of the user manual Page E-150.  I hope that this will get you up and playing.  Good Luck!
