jimmyjames
I am trying to control the dry/wet reverb knob on my NE4 by using Slider 6 on the PX5S. On the NE4, the MIDI CC value for this knob is 102. This value does not appear to exist on the PX5S. I tried setting it to "Tempo" which is five above CC97 (the highest option with a value), but it does not work. Any suggestions? Thanks...
Mike Martin
There may be a way to do it with NRPN's. Let me look into this.
jimmyjames
Thanks Mike. Had never heard the term NRPN but just looked it up. It's way over my head...but always happy to learn something new.
Mike Martin
I admittedly don't know enough about them either. CC#91 is the MIDI standard for reverb level. It seems strange they'd use 102. I'll check into this more.
jimmyjames
Maybe it's those long cold winters in Sweden... There are twelve parameters on the NE4 with three digit CC's.
jimmyjames
Very sorry to pester you Mike but was wondering if you were able to get any information on this. I know I asked over the weekend and it's only Monday and I know you're very busy. I am trying to finish up an NE4 controller stage setting and I am stuck at this point. Sorry again and my thanks for all your help here and elsewhere...
jimmyjames
Mike, hope you had a nice vacation. Thought I would check in with you to see if you were able to get any additional information about how to transmit CC values over 100 which I need to control a few things on my NE4. Thanks... Mike Martin
Sorry Jimmy, I haven't found a work around. I don't think this is currently possible.
