jmcolomina
Hello. A simple question. Is possible record and arrange sounds in the casio XW with a software sequencer like logic pro with only an usb cable or I need a midi-usb cable? I don't know if simple usb cable is only from use casio like a controller or I can manage sounds from casio in multitimbral mode too. Display Name
You can use a USB "A" to USB cable to connect the XW to your computer and use the XW as a sound source (16 channel multi-timbre) . If you want to record audio on your PC from the XW you will need audio cables to run from the XW to your audio interface / sound card.
jmcolomina
Thanks Scott. And I suppose I must to assign xw sounds to midi channels in the mixer, right?

They DAW will handle all the bank/patch changes, volumes, etc.
