Two zone on the same midi channel ???

Each zone RECEIVES on it's own channel (1-4).  However you can transmit on any channel from the PX-5s on any of the 4 zones.

You probably have your own reasons, but why would you want to send to multiple zones over the same channel?  Because program changes are sent per channel, you wouldn't have multitimbral play in that case so the redundancy doesn't seem to make sense.

Well, a single Hex layer has the possibility of 6 separate tones (or they could all be the same).  You could send 1 midi channel, to say, zone 1 where there is a hex layer.  6 sounds could be played from that one midi channel.  If you have a second hex layer on zone 2, you could play 12 parts from 2 midi channels.

Are you trying to lay down octaves of the same tone, or play in unison on the same tone?  If it's octaves or harmonies,  then you can have multiple tracks from the DAW all playing to the same channel.  This will all sound on the zone that matches that channel.

If you want unison play for the same tone, create a stage setting where each zone is exactly the same sound.  Send 4 channels from your DAW of all the same midi.
