daddyo
When plugging in the SP33 pedal to the Privia 150 it is sustaining without any pedals being pressed. It's seems to be similar to the ground reversal issue sometimes seen with single sustain pedals such as the SP3. I've checked the pedal with a different Privia 150 and it works properly so it seems that the problem is in the 150. Is there a setting in the 150 that can be changed to fix this or perhaps some wire switching done on the pedal? Thanks.
Joe Muscara
Some Casio models (if not all) auto-detect the sustain pedal when you power up the keyboard. Turn off the keyboard, make sure the SP33 is properly connected and that nothing is pressing the pedals, then turn the keyboard back on. Don't touch any pedal until the keyboard is ready. daddyo
Thank you very much, Joe. I tried that but there's no change. Any other ideas? Mike
Joe Muscara
Here are two things I would suggest. First, do you have another pedal that plugs into the sustain jack in the back? Does that work as expected? Second, check your manual for info about turning "Back Up" off. That might reset whatever changed. If you can't find your manual, you can download the PDF of it here - http://www.casio.com/support/manuals/
daddyo
Bummer, tried that but it didn't fix it.Yes, the single pedal works correctly as it should. Thanks again. If you have any other ideas I would appreciate it. Mike

Joe Muscara
Where did you buy the 150? Is it still under warranty?
