I bought a GCP-700 this February. Recently, the sustain pedal stopped working. I troubleshot the problem by switching to a different pedal and confirmed that it's likely a connection problem within the keyboard. I have contacted the keyboard repairing branch of Casio Support via their phone number from this webpage https://www.casioca.com/support/authorized-service , got into the voice mail, left a message, and never got an reply. I just called them again via the same number this morning, got into voice mail once again. Does anyone have any suggestions about what I should do, thank you!

I always like a piano sound that cuts through a mix. This registration file contains four similar power pianos (these are modifications of the factory default GrPnoConcert tone and have a more powerful attack). Each registration has a different Touch Response setting. DSP is Stereo1BndEQ with an increased Dry Level. Knobs control Brilliance/Reverb. Rhythm is Straight 8Bt. -

No Sound - for use with Pianoteq or your favorite VSTs 3. Layered GrPnoConcert with E.Piano Pad (use knob 1 for layer balance) 4. Layered Warm Pad with GrPnoConcert (use knob 1 for layer balance) You can edit the keyboard touch responses to your liking and save for each bank. -

I've been able to tweak existing piano tones and save them on the PX-560, but I am not sure how to duplicate/recreate a piano tone in the hex layer. For example, say I wanted to recreate the default GrPnoConcert tone in a hex layer, how would I do that? At first I thought I could just copy the same tone parameters in a hex layer, but they appear to be somewhat different. I am also not sure what base waves to use (like GrPiano2-L, GrPiano2-R, etc.) and how to set it up. I've tried various things but haven't been able to reproduce the same sound compared to the original tone. Does anyone have suggestions on how to do this or maybe have a good basic hex layer piano template that they wouldn't mind sharing? Thank you.

Hiya, I own a Casio WK-3200. Am a second owner. I am also selling it as I am looking to upgrade so I want to know if I can fix it. The person I bought the keyboard from wasnt the owner, but her sister owned it and was selling for her. She said her sister had barely used it at all. When I got it, the keyboard looked great, well kept so I dont want to blame damage from the previous owner. Problem: So all keys work fine except for C2 and C3. The issue is when these two are pressed with a bit more force, either individually or together, there is a rattling sound or like a distortion. When I play a C octave as bass notes on the left hand and a C chord on the right hand (with the two keys being pressed mentioned above) it is highly likely that this distorted or like rattling sound occurs. It makes playing the notes sound bad, happens in both speakers. Touch sensitivity is set to 2, which is good for how I play but its just the two C notes ruining it. If I set the tranpose to '01' instead of '00' it fixes it but it changes how everything sounds and I am not a fan. This ringing/rattling/distorted noise happens on any touch sensitivity just at different points when pressing the keys. Its not a matter of 'just press the keys with less force', I am selling this keyboard and it shouldn't happen so I am asking for a fix for it so its as good as new to go to a new owner. -

I was playing with the rhythms in the "World" category and I found this particular one (Mus) interesting. Never heard it before but it sounds exotic to me... Anyway, the melody evolved, it's a very simple one, but I like the minor chords. I added some "synth-strings" as a layer on the piano, and I'm learning to adjust the levels, both of the layer and the accompaniment. I hope it doesn't sound too intrusive.

From 1992. The piano backing in this was tricky to learn since it has a weird syncopation. Took me a week of practicing daily to retain the muscle (and brain) memory. This is a shortened version so as not to be monotonous (i.e. without the varied singing of Michael Stipe). This is a gorgeous piano piece from the 1998 movie The Truman Show. I set the reverb to "stadium 2" to match the original. The ending "keeps you hanging" (i.e. not resolved), it's not a mistake on my part, Ha. Truman Sleeps.mp3

I recently was asked by my son if I could learn this piece to play at his upcoming wedding in May. Never heard of the Italian composer or song prior. I must be living in a cave since it has over 5 million hits on YouTube. Found free sheet music at Musescore and here's the result. Note, this is just the "main bit" from the overall. Please excuse my constant uploading which I'm sure is annoying to some however, I just LOVE playing the PX560 and I can't stop playing this fine instrument! I've never practiced this much ever. This one is just the clean Grand Concert Piano sound from the PX560. I resisted adding strings (my usual route) since this piece is so beautiful as is. The only editing I did in midi was to remove the gap when I had to turn the page of sheet music (I'll never master that skill while keeping tempo). Clair de Lune.mp3

I've been working on this song for a while and it was hard with all the other things going on (like carpal tunnel syndrome)... It's a beautiful melody, and I found it difficult to come up with something I would enjoy listening to. There's a couple of errors in it, but I'm tired and want to move on... I think I learned a lot arranging it...
