  2. Casiotone 701/ 601 "Service" manual

This is the Casiotone 701/ 601 "Text Book", that appears to be the circuit block diagrams for the 1982 Casiotone 701 and 601 models. It doesn't contain the actual circuit board schematics unfortunately, but should help those needing technical information to service and repair these models.

  8. casioMZ-x300ServiceManual

A few hours after found the MZ-X500 SM, I also stumble upon this.
I know some of us think this could be dangerous for people who don't know what they are doing (and I agree) , but even I, who have 3 years of electronics engineering education, am not too brave to take apart my own keyboard - maybe I'm just too stingy.

But for people who have a brave and adventurous spirit - I was once upon a time, this file can be very helpful.

Once again, be careful!! The risk is in your own hands.

  16. Split volume

Split.RBK is a registration file made with Chandler Holloway's RBK Mixer, which changes the volume for the U1, U2 and L layers of a CDP-S350 piano (may also work for the CDP-S360, as well as keyboards in the CT-X700 series). Patches and rest of settings at default, except that accompaniment volume is lowered to 80. This is what the different registrations do:
    1: U1 and U2 at 100%, L at 75%
    2. U1 and U2 at 100%, L at 50%
    3. U1 and U2 at 75%, L at 100%
    4. U1 and U2 at 50%, L at 100%
The idea is to compensate for a left-hand split instrument that is too loud or too soft.

  17. Layer volume

Layer.RBK is a registration file made with Chandler Holloway's RBK Mixer, which changes the volume for the U1, U2 and L layers of a CDP-S350 piano (may also work for the CDP-S360, as well as keyboards in the CT-X700 series). Patches and rest of settings at default, except that accompaniment volume is lowered to 80. This is what the different registrations do:
    1: U1 and L at 100%, U2 at 100%  (reset to default)
    2. U1 and L at 100%, U2 at 75%
    3. U1 and L at 75%, U2 at 50%
    4. U1 and L at 50%, U2 at 25%
The idea is to compensate for a layered instrument that is too loud. If too soft, just switch it with the U1 instrument.

  18. Casio CT-S1 Patch Script for Reaper DAW

I created a Reaper DAW patch script for the Casio CT-S1.  You can upload the patch script in Reaper and then select GM sounds, CT-S1 sounds, and even a standard drum kit to use!  If you use a different DAW, I think you should be able to tweak the file to a format that your DAW can read.  Enjoy.
