  1. I took apart my 390 and my Yamaha PSR-190 and joined them together along with a guitar effects pedal and stereo mixer back in 2001. I'm going to get it out pretty soon and see if it still works, I'll take a picture then. I haven't played any keyboard for many years. My woodworking hobby overtook my keyboard hobby. I made a wood frame for them both to fit inside of. You should see it, it's pretty crazy!
  2. I hope I don't come across as a jerk, I always try to be humorous. Thanks for the reply I'll see if it works later.
  3. Sure, sure. After all the administrators have to read all of these don't they? And I just know they're a lovely bunch of humans.
  4. Oh yah, I keep forgetting. Well I'm sure somebody will help eventually.
  5. I think that's called embedding. I wonder how you do that.
  6. I tried to make one of those links that shows the YouTube video playing here on CMF, I see others have done that. Can somebody tell me how to do that?
  7. https://youtu.be/u2NhGxMDsIQ https://youtu.be/u2NhGxMDsIQ A lot of the stuff on my keyboard tapes is too goofy to be put on YouTube. This is almost too goofy mainly because of the slightly annoying high pitched tone in the accompaniment. With the CT-390 you couldn't remove things like that. But this is so bright sounding and I like the chords in it so I put it on. It fits the time too, I'll make this my Salute To Spring And Summer, which cannot come too soon.
  8. Geez! The end catches you by surprise doesn't it?!
  9. That's nice to hear sslyutov, good luck with ReverbNation!
  10. This song is one of my mom's favorites. I'll have to show this to her, I know she'll like it!
  11. Signifying what? I'm not sure. It's some fun entertainment at least. Recorded in '91. I used another pen doodle for the video like the one 2 posts ago. And like that one this is loud 'n messy. I have 6 speakers connected to my tv, 2 woofers go through a super-bass amplifier. I like to blast out YouTube music videos that way. This will be good for that. I also have speakers on each side of my bed so I can fall asleep to the likes of Debussy's Suite Bergamasque and Nocturnes. Oh, yeah, and I use Dylan Marathon bluetooth headphones when I'm taking a ride or mowing the lawn. I have a need for tunes don't I?
  12. Well, obviously I want positive reviews of my stuff, I'm not a masochist. If I didn't want a conversation with some fellow humans about this music I'd just make a website that you couldn't leave comments on, put stuff on it, and walk away. Like right now, we're having a dialog, exchanging ideas, this is what a forum is for. Thanks for replying AlenK.
  13. Thank you AlenK. If I didn't want feedback I wouldn't be on a forum would I?
  14. Maybe I just have a stereotypical view of Indian music, but these don't sound "exotic" enough. Sounds more Italian than Indian to me! And it would be best if you could just select and listen here or go to YouTube or other site. These downloaded into my tablet.
  15. As of March '18 I say don't change anything, except maybe a little more color. Man there are some ugly forums out there! After checking out 5 or 6 keyboard forums I can say the CMF looks the best and works the best.
  16. My favorite relaxing tone of the 390, chorus. I can't help but see clouds and sunrises with it, so that's the theme of the video.https://youtu.be/zC5ofP9a_wA
  17. I never wanted to be rich and famous. Well, rich would be nice I suppose. I think it was Jackie Gleason who said: "the one with the most toys in the end wins". Meaning the most yachts, mansions, expensive cars, gorgeous babes, etc. He was being funny of course. The Beatles are more serious with: " in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make". By the way, Jeff Lynne goes even farther than king of the world, he's the king of the universe! Check it out on the E.L.O. On the Third Day album, one of my favorites.
  18. I started making videos for my old keyboard tapes a couple months ago. I never liked those YouTube videos with just a still picture, so I tried to make them interesting. Even with just Android tablets and free apps you can do some interesting stuff. I'm using VideoPad Free, PowerDirector, MixPad Free, AndroVid, MP3 merger MP3 cutter, and some more. The audio with this video was recorded in 1990. I used a pen notebook doodle from my keyboard notebook in it. It's pretty long, 15 minutes. Let me know if you survive listening to the whole thing. It's best with headphones too.https://youtu.be/sFoSQOfcwLQ
  19. Audio recorded in 1986 (yes I really am that ancient). I wanted to make a video similar to the Beatles Flying in the Magical Mystery Tour movie. In this the MT-100 leaves this planet and travels to the edge of the universe only to find...itself!
  20. How about now? (ha ha) Just a little dark humor there. But seriously, the tricky part is going to be keeping that positive attitude up as the years go on. Take it from an old guy, it ain't easy!
  21. Nice, makes me think of rolling down a new road with bright eyes though!
  22. The latest upload to my m10538 YouTube channel. If you're in the mood for relaxing ambient music you won't want this. But if you want to ROCK!,then strap on the headphones, crank up the volume, and MAKE YOUR HEAD EXPLODE! Your head might not actually explode, but you might get a headache at least. I did, making this video. The theme is "Yin/Yang",Good vs. Evil. Oooooo! It's over 20 minutes so be prepared for that.
  23. If you're interested in "vintage" Casio's it doesn't get more vintage than this:my old cassette tape recordings I made from the mid 80's through the mid 90's. I was a basement dwelling nerd kid when I got the mini Casio MT-100 in '84. Later I got the full size Casio CT-390. I played just for fun and made recordings just for me. Recently I went through the old box of tapes, digitized them, edited off the most interesting stuff, made videos to go with them and put them on YouTube. You can find it by searching for m10538. It's just simple amateur stuff, but maybe you'll find it entertaining. Let me know what you think. If my past self knew I was making these available for others to hear he'd be MORTIFIED with embarrassment ! But now that I'm an oldster I can take some negative reviews I suppose.
