  1. So that's you doing the vocal? That's really good! I checked out the Joe Barry original on YouTube, never heard it before, it has a fun Fats Domino sound. I like your honky-tonk piano too, šŸ‘!
  2. Sounds good, šŸ‘! That's a well-crafted pop tune, a good hook, and everything. Not surprising it went to no.1.
  3. That's some nice smooth jazz, Stefan, šŸ‘! Usually the sax sounds goofy on synths, but that's pretty good. The arrangement is perfect! And the kitty chorus at the end is...ugh....wacky, I guess is the word! šŸ˜¹
  4. HEAVY METAL BANJO!! YES!!šŸ˜«! It actually works!
  5. Alright! Synthesizer + banjo, don't hear that too often! I suppose the banjo has limited appeal, like the bagpipes, but I like the sound of both. I'm a country boy (since leaving Detroit in '76) so that's a sound that works for me. Not sure about the trance arpeggio though, Tom. Maybe a bluegrass one would be better, if there is one.
  6. Nice relaxed version, Tsquare! I think that's the most upbeat song Pete Townshend ever wrote! I used to jam out to that on my electric guitar. Yup, I played with the Who, Beatles, Zep, Stones, and many many more! Well, when I say "played with" I mean I was playing along to the radio. Yuk yuk.
  7. This is my shout out to some favorite veggie meat brands. I've tried some lame ones, so I wanted to tell fellow veggies about the best ones I've found. I think the Casio CT-390 might be in there somewhere, but it's mostly the Yamaha PSR-190. Mo' of my goofy tuneage!
  8. Boy, that really changes the feeling. The piano version is Beethoven-ish (which is, of course, a good thing), inspiring images of Vienna and whatnot. The ep version brings to mind what the title refers to, a moonlit lake scene. Groovy, šŸ‘!
  9. Now that's some pretty piano, šŸ‘! That sounds fun to play too, hoppin' and skippin' on the keys! Nice original tune, Sergey!
  10. Poco? I couldn't name a Poco tune if my life depended on it! Nice smooth, upbeat tune though, šŸ‘! Only 2 Eagles tunes in my phone: Hotel California and I Can't Tell You Why, which is super smooth! There's a good one to cover, Tsquare!
  11. Wow, cool, I might have a new career in advertising! I bet I heard one of those jingles back in a Detroit Kmart as a kid in '73, '74.
  12. No way, Brad, no store bought flowers here! Those are perennials or come back from seeds. For the non-green-thumbed, they are daisies, balloon flowers, morning glory, and lily of the valley. It's still months before they'll be out, hmm...maybe I should swing by Kmart and force an early spring on my yard! šŸŒŗšŸŒ»šŸŒ¾šŸŒ¼šŸŒøšŸŒ¹šŸŒ·
  13. No Casio here, forgive me CMF, just 90 seconds of corny electric piano noodlin' on the Yamaha PSR-190 and some flower pics from last summer. Survived another winter...ugh...FINALLY. Flowers will actually exist outside soon!!!!!šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚!!!!!
  14. Someday love will find you! Break those chains that bind you! Yeah! That's an action-packed one, šŸ‘! Those drums are pretty good, maybe just a little too wimpy for me. Maybe I shouldn't plug a different company here but on Steve Webb's YouTube channel the Korg Microarranger he uses has percussion that really stands out. My old CT-390 had nice deep loud percussion too.
  15. Nice cover, šŸ‘! That band gets put down in some circles, but they don't deserve it. Now Styx on the other hand..... I had Journey and Styx albums back then but only Journey stood the test of time for me. If the Casio can handle it you could cover Any Way You Want It. The guitar chords can't be wimpy though! Gotta be MASSIVE!!!
  16. That's fantastic, šŸ‘! Bizarrely, there's 3 down thumbs on YT! I'd like to hear their reasoning. Wouldn't matter though, their obviously s__t-heads. I balanced it out a little with an upped one. That's a great piano sound, but needs more stereo separation. I don't know if that keyboard has something to adjust, but other than that this is perfect!
  17. Groovy, šŸ‘! Really cool organ sound, but it would be even cooler with a stereo Leslie speaker effect, of course everything sounds better that way!
  18. Never heard of this song before. Can't say I'm a R.E.M. fan, but this is one your best covers, Tsquare! Sounds really nice, šŸ‘!
  19. My Lord, I'm such a geek! But I just can't help it! Compare this to the Rich Menga vid I shared in the Members Lounge a few months ago and you'll see the difference between cool...and like NOT EVEN CLOSE! When Jon Lord scrapes me off his shoe at the end it's a pic of me and my lil MT-100 in the mid-80s.
  20. Another favorite oldie but goodie, šŸ‘! Karen Carpenter was a great vocalist, alright. Up there with Christine McVie, Stevie Nicks, and Chrissie Hynde as my top female pop vocalists. Some Carpenters songs are too shmaltzy even for a sentimentalist like me! But this one's good. I was humming the melody all day after I saw the CMF notification for this.
  21. March 2019 edit: I was able to edit off the M.P. skit so now it's on Y.T. again without that.
  22. Better watch this before Viacom yanks it off YouTube. Hopefully they'll just monetize it and let it stay. I couldn't resist putting the video of SpongeBob's "cheap walk cycles" to my goofy tune that is eerily similar to the original. This was recorded in '96 before SpongeBob was born! I guess I'm the original Goofy Goober! It's mainly the Yamaha PSR-190. The Casio is just doing the low electric piano that you can just barely hear. Keep on Spongin'!
  23. TheBradge certainly knows how to have fun, šŸ‘! I always get a kick out of your fast fingerwork!
  24. The feeling comes through, crappy cellphone notwithstanding, šŸ‘šŸ‘!
  25. Another fave of mine! It is fun to play. When I was a teenager I'd jam along on guitar with the radio to this song. Love...love...la la la la la LOVE! How about the Mindbenders post-Fontana hit Groovy Kind Of Love next? That's a nice smooth one.
