  1. It’s really a pity Casio isn’t taking the same approach like the other brands are doing, Roland has been releasing almost every year a newer synth workstation to the market, same as Yamaha and Kurzweil, and Casio is still sticking to the PX-5s which is still good though, but it definitely needs an update! I’ve been watching the reviews of the Fantom 0 Series the past 2 days and it definitely looks like I found what I need right now, it’s definitely worth the price I think. I’ve been waiting too long for a PX-5S with the exact features but can’t wait any longer. Going for my Roland Fantom-08 !😊
  2. 3years after this topic still no PX-5s successor and Roland just made for me the ideal PX5-S successor with the features I was expecting, Sliders, dedicated organ module, Touchscreen and lots of sounds and probably quieter keys and I‘m definitely going to take a look at it, it’s a shame Casio that you have us been waiting soo long… I‘m talking about the brand new Roland Fantom-08 (2022 release). This is my ideal PX-5s successor. I’m not giving away my PX-5s however, keeping this forever😃
  3. Hi Andre, I only agree with you on one point. The speakers. This isn’t needed in a pro stage piano like the PX5s with it’s extended midi functionality which of cause requires sliders and knobs!. I’m a gospel musician and we LOVE sliders and knobs. These makes mixing and sound tweaking at live stage just easy. Any other tweaks and and improvements in terms of keys, bigger screen and yes colored please, we are in year 2020, color and touch is a must;-) are all welcomed and yes Leslie/organ engine improvements would be great .. still love my current PX5s though 😉
  4. What I would really have to have on a newer PX5s are quieter keybed action and a dedicated drawbar organ engine and additional sliders to the existing six to achieve that. Something similar to the new Kurzweil PC4 is exactly what I want with all the functionalities of the current PX5s and more.. I really love this board and long awaiting an update which would to my opinion be killing all those big brand machines. Hopefully Casio works on this soon..
  5. Hello out there, after excessive thinking of if I should snatch this amazing deal of 299€ from music store, I finally did it! Just placed the order. Just couldn’t stand it anymore.;-) I actually was out for the X500 due to the HexLayer functionality which is amazing, I own a PX-5S so know what this is capable of ;-) but the current price here in Germany (669-719€) isn’t in my financial budget now.. besides that I think I can manage without the missing features in the X300. I hope I won’t be disappointed, looking forward to receive this the coming week.. Those already having this, is AMP simulation for EPs possible or is this a feature reserved for the HexLayer? Thanks
