Hi there Today, I was searching for a part to replace for my casio PX5S. (The rubber contacts partnr: 10437600) I came across the website casiopart.com but after doing some research, it turns out to be a scam. Can Casio report this website so other folks won't fall for this? P.S Some months ago, there was another website with the domain casioparts.com (with the 's') and was taken down.

It has become quiet here. Does someone has a creation? It doesn't matter if it's not finished.

This is now difinitely the best piano tried so far. It is perfect for classical pieces and some calm pieces ! It has such a warm and woody sound. It reminds me of the old steinway in my music school.

I thought so but probably pretty much the same between these 2.

I know how to make hextones and hexlayers (I watched some videos online from Mike Martin) but I never made one and I don't know how to make nice ambient synth sounds like in the video from Nord, there are so many settings and I simply don't know what they all do.

Hi, A while ago, I saw a demo video from Nord stage 3 where they use a sine wave with expression pedal + saw pad with ring modulation (at the end of the video). I wonder if it is possible to play something very similar on the casio px5s? I bought the px5s not so long ago and I don't know where to begin (and if it's even possible)? It would be very nice ... Thank you for your fast reply! 🙂 Now, I'm trying with the hexlayers like you said but I can only overdub with one sound. The other sounds from the hexlayer can I not hear. I use the pianoscape preset from the download section. Im pretty new in all this things so do I something wrong?

I have a question about the phrase section. It is a nice feature but i'm wondering if I can play live with it and can disable layers, like a loopstation from boss? I heard the vienna piano on the celvanio website . I like the timbre much more then the current Hamburg sound, so I wonder if it is possible to get these piano sound for the px5S? Otherwise, is there a sound that is closer to the vienna in the download section? Thanks in advance!

Never mind. I found it!! The project rate was too high. It was 48000 hz instead of 41000. Thanks to this forum!

PS: Sometimes I get 'error no media'.

Thank you for your response! And how can you play wav files on the casio? I had exported a .wav file (16 bit) with audacity. I placed it in the folder 'MUSICDAT' and named it: 'TAKE01'. First I turned the casio of, then I plugged the usb in the casio, turned it back on. next, I pressed the ' Audio recorder/media' button. The name 'TAKE01' pops up, but then it says 'wrong file'. It won't work... I also can't record my songs. I hope it's not an issue...
