  1. We will try this asap... This noise is really awful and I have spoken with Casio repair and they tell me I am the only one who has ever complained about this annoying noise. They tell me all the unit smake this sound. My response to them was, then all the unit need a recall to fix it. They are happy to have this keyboard on their shelf to sell at all, so they are just fine with this rattling rebounding sound... So, you have noticed that this IS just a mechanical reaction to the way the keyboard is assembled. Because it always makes this sound even when it's turned off , then the keys are pressed. So, thank you so much for your post, that I have finally found and will try. There are so many good points to owning one of these 560's, but this is hard to ignore in the softer passages... I agree with your wife. 100% Landofpar
  2. I have found that the expression pedal is probIematic with the 560. My EV -5 didn't work all.. So, I purchased a VOX V845... and ran it thru a direct amp out of my guitar voice and there I got really loud awesome Jimmy Hendrix style wah sounds. But, it doesn't work when run thru the controller/pedal choice/ cc expression. I purchased a yamaha pedal that sort of works.. Has the TRS Jack... It wahs... on some of the instruments but it is very soft... and can't be turned up. I will try the EV-5 one more time... After that I have to consider that the 560 has other great qualities and expression pedal isn't it. I have listened to Martin's use of a pedal and it does sound great. So, something else is going on here, that he isn't talking about. Like, extra amping from somewhere or extra powered monitors, or something. Because I never ever got that kind of response from using the assign jack and controller assigns for the pedal. Even my Clavi 1 straight out of the box, doesn't sound like his. So, maybe each unit sounds and works better and better as they come off of the assembly line. I did see one of his demos where the expression actually didn't work.. I think I own one of those units. Maybe one day they will put out an upgrade in the programming of this unit and make them perform like they tells they will. and add a lot of the things the users have been asking for. Or, I have a novel idea... How about Casio just make an expression pedal that works with it's keyboards... Wow,, what an idea. Make one... From some of the first ever watches and hand calculators to now dipping their feet in with the big boys on music, I think Casio could figure out how to make the correct and fabulous working Expression pedal... That with program upgrades and they really have something here. But, alas, it's already been what 5 years out with the 560 and no Expression Pedal by Casio.. What are you waiting for? I use the trio of pedals for keyboard sustain damper, they work just fine.. Hey Casio,, be brave.... Make the expression pedal already and stop frustrating the owners of the 560.
  3. First time this happened I had the modulation wheel slightly rolled on. oopss... I called the tech and that was his suggestion to check on. And it turned off the wobbly sound. Second time, it was not the wheel. I suddenly had a wobbly sound from all external speakers but not the head phones. My husband listened to the sound coming out of the speakers and right away determined that I had just turned on the ceiling fan above the keyboard.. And I had turned my room in a slightly wobbly leslie with the air blowing on the speakers!!! And, I turned off the fan... And the wobbly sound, guess what? Disappeared!! Tah DAhhhhh...
  4. I tried to assign K1 to Upper 2 Volume. that didn't seem to work, but when I just choose to use the generic volume target. it worked.. so I figured this out on my own. Well I tried to erase this post, but I couldn't figure that one out either. Just to new.
  5. I have also experienced the left hand dropping an octave.. Maybe there will be another update soon to address some of these issues.
  6. What's the best value in a Leslie?
  7. I am new to my px 560... But, I found a guy on you tube who hooked up one of these pedals.. I hooked up a 1/4 cable to the line out (left) Mono, then, attached the other end to input on the Wah Pedal. Then I attached a 1/4" jack from the pedal, into the Amp . I have a used Peavey KB amp. Must be a keyboard amp.. A guitar amp wont do. Unless you jump thru some conversion hoops. But, why do that when they make keyboard amps already. So, I tried it!!!! (NOTE) "I did not run the pedal out of the pedal jacks on the 560". I just ran it straight out of the "LINE OUT" jack, says " L/ Mono" . Then I switched on everything carefully. And brought up the volumes slowly..... . And wella, I'm a budding frickin....... Jimi Hendrix.. It is a very solid wah effect.. Can't believe it was so easy. So, now as newbie to the site... I've added my two cents to the chorus of users here. Hope this helps someone enjoy this effect. I purchased top of the line cables for my unit. They are "Custom Series" Instrument Cables" gold plated, cooper shielding tube, etc. By a company that my music store carries.. Daddario. Good luck... It sounds wonderbarrrrrrrrrrrrr....
