  1. It already has been. Anything mentioned here, Casio will see it.
  2. As soon as we hear something about Casio releasing a firmware update, we'll be sure to let everyone know. Unfortunately, sometimes we are the last ones to know. 🙄
  3. Which stage setting are you using when this happens?
  4. Can you recreate the issue? Or is it random?
  5. The best advice I can give when buying one of the USB to MIDI adapter cables is buy one with a brand name on it, any brand name at all. The problems we've seen have come from adapter cables that have no brand name on them. Even better, buy one with a brand name you recognize and from a seller you trust.
  6. 1) Edit the tone and save it as a user tone. 1:18 seconds into this video covers tone editing, which is where DSP editing occurs. Each tone on the CT-X series can have several DSP modules at once, unlike the older CTK series, which didn't have modules. Be sure to check for more than one module when editing a DSP effect. 2) Unfortunately on the CT-X series, a pedal can't be used to switch rotary speed. For anyone reading this with a CT-X5000, the modulation button can be setup to control rotary speed. On the 3000, go into tone editing to switch rotary speed. 3) Press function>cursor to OTHER>auto resume>turn this on. You can also save your keyboard settings as a registration. 4) Carefully adjusted DSP EQ and lots of reverb can do a great job of making a pipe organ tone sound big. Check out the pinned posts in this forum section for more help resources, like the entire Casio global video series.
  7. To be clear, are we talking about the older CTK-5000, or the more recent CT-X5000?
  8. A few more details would help narrow things down.
  9. You should be able to go into Ableton's options menu for MIDI and select CASIO USB-MIDI as your input and output device.
  10. All of the supplied MIDI implementation information is at the end of the CDP-S350 user guide. There is no separate document.
  11. PX-5S and PX-S3000 are your other two options. Have you studied those?
  12. I was hoping it was something we could fix by changing settings. Unfortunately, that pattern of silent keys means it will need servicing. Something in the key sensor system is malfunctioning.
  13. Hi Melissa. Welcome to the forums. Which eight keys have gone silent?
  14. That is done by starting the audio recorder, then starting playback of a recorded song. The AP-450 English user manual (page EN-19) has instructions on how to do that, the section titled "Recording Digital Piano Play as Data Recorded in Song Memory Plays Back (Audio Recorder)".
  15. As Patrick said, connect a plug to the headphone jack on the PX-S3000.
  16. @not_thepianist Are you sure about that? Connecting to the headphone output on the PX-160 will mute the speakers, just like it will on the PX-S3000. However, connecting to line out on the PX-160 will not mute the speakers, also same as on the PX-S3000.
  17. Your track is a mono wave file. The CT-X will only play stereo wave files. Convert it to stereo.
  18. First, make sure your input and outputs are connected properly. OUT goes to IN, and IN goes to OUT. Beyond that, this is more likely a question about your adapter cable rather than the Casio PX-110. What brand of cable do you have?
  19. First, make sure your USB flash drive has a folder named MUSICDAT. Unzip the downloaded files. Copy all of the files in the CTX organs folder to the MUSICDAT folder. Follow my instructions in the video to load everything....
  20. Yes, Casio specifies 32 GB as the maximum recommended size for all of their keyboards. Some users report that larger capacity drives work, so it's worth a try.
  21. Anyone with an awesome name like Brad can do it. 😁
  22. If it's stripped down to just batteries, nothing else connected to the keyboard, has been factory reset, and you hear noticable noise while in a normal seated position when you play, I would say it's definitely not normal. In that case, I would look into having it exchanged for another one.
  23. Correct. Casio has not released a firmware update for these. I don't know why some units are reportedly on different versions. As always, if a firmware update is released, we'll make sure it is announced on the forums.
