  1. FWIW I have a PX-S3000 and a Nord C2 organ. Sometime we play with a bigger sound system where each goes to DI. The soundmen have been telling me its output is a little low. In smaller clubs, I send both into one DI out of necessity. The 3000's output is far lower than the C2 or any other keyboard. I have the 3000 volume all the way up and the C2 on half.
  2. Do you mean in the app under Pedal and others, or on the keyboard itself. if on the keyboard, how do I get to that?
  3. I bought a Roland EV-5 and cannot get it to have any effect on S3000 at all. I have set up two layers in the app, shut off the expression for one and saved as a registration. I cannot get the pedal to have any effect, even with a single layer.
  4. Before I go out and buy a new pedal, can an expression pedal be used to control the volume of just one layer in a registration? If so, any particular pedal I should use?
  5. I would like to do something like that too. I'm starting with a new band will need to program a wide variety of splits and layers into registrations. It would be helpful if I could change banks and areas from an external device so that I could give the registrations names. It's a convoluted solution to make up for the fact registrations can't be named within the S3000. I strongly recommend Casio do a software update to add this feature to either the S3000 or the app.
  6. Played my first gig with the S3000 yesterday. It sounded great, but I'm concerned with how practical this keyboard is for playing live. I mostly need it for piano, EP and clav. I set up Banks in Registration - each containing variations of each instrument. But just say I play piano on one song, EP on the second, and piano again on the third. Do I have to hit Bank 24 times to come back around to the Bank A or is there a way to step back? Eventually, I just made a Bank with the three instruments in it, but lost the variations. Also, what if I want to efficiently get to more than four sounds? How are any of you setting up your sounds live? Does the app provide better access to changing sounds?
  7. Are what parameters the knobs control individual for each sound? On my 3000 it seems to be global and be the same for every sound.
