Hi All,
I purchased a new PX-S3100 receiving it on Friday 3rd December. After several hours of work over a number of days I have almost finished setting up my registrations but the keyboard has crashed. The LCD freezes, no sound then after a few seconds the keyboard turns off! Back to square one.
My "old" PX-S3000 ( the second one , as the first was replaced with a brand new one) was assessed by the Casio warranty technician in early September and he observed the crash on the workbench. He has ordered a new motherboard, but we are still waiting.
The new PX-S3100 has exhibited exactly the same problem. Surely I'm not the only person having this problem. Come on Casio give me some answers please? I now have 2 keyboards both having intermittent failure. I intended to use the PX-S3100 on the job and keep the old one as a home keyboard. However, I can't rely on either.
Unfortunately unless I can get some explanation from Casio I will take this to Australian Consumer Affairs.
