  1. Maybe someone else's brain works like mine and prefers to have the ZPF files of ALTORDR2 as individual files, organized in folders according to the Banks proposed by Mike. Hereby I'm presenting just that, zipped. As the supported length of the file names is limited, there's a little txt file in each folder, so you can remember in which location the stage setting was originally located. Enjoy! FranALTORDR2.zip
  2. I couldn't find in the forums such pdf, so I've made one, as I was also in search for it. There might be some spelling mistakes, as I usd OCR over som screen captures of the Data Editor (well, I actually saw some typos in Mike's pdf too... :P). If you find anything to improve to make it more useful, just let me know and I'll post an update. Cheers! Francisco (I just realized ALTORDR2 has two "Clav/PedWah2" settings!! one in 4-2 and 4-8) ALTORDR2.pdf
  3. Odly, over here the WK-7600 can still be found at instruments shops, for about 1.000 bucks (brand new).
  4. Isn't this guy the same german that did those old videos on the WK-7600? (*_*)
  5. There's still a lot of interest over here! 🙋‍♂️
  6. Well I did get the best SD card I could find and problem solved, crystal clear sound
  7. Are there any rules to follow? Is there merchandising one can use? (T-shirts of specific models). I'm seriously happy with all my gear, I got my PX--5s secondhand and couldn't believe the previous owner had masked the word CASIO on the back with black tape. Nonsense, the keyboard is great. So that got me thinking if I can do something else to show live that I'm such a huge fan of CASIO keyboards...
  8. Hi guys and girls... I was wondering if there're any new developments on this area. Missing some great tutorials like the ones Mike made for the WK-7600, the PX-5s and the XP-W1 back in the day...
  9. I also think it's an awesome keyboard. A way to make up for the lack of the "undo" function would be to use an empty track as a "temp" where to backup momentarily the track where a big modification is gonna be made (like quantizing the whole thing), using the Copy Track function (page E-86). If the results are satisfactory one can free the temp track (Clear Track). Actually one can back up the whole song to another song slot (page E-82), or to a SD card (page E-138) before trying anything big. For small changes the punch-in recording is enough.
  10. Found it myself!!! Eureka! One has to go 1) Song Sequencer 2) Function + Song Sequencer (Edit) 3) Function+Menu (E.Edit Menu) 4) Go to page 4/4 I dont think this is documented on the manual... should be in E-87 but is not. Anyhow, Im happy. Cheers!
  11. Hi! I'm trying to write a song with beat and tempo changes on my WK-7600. According to the manual in page E-100 and E-99 it should be possible to insert 'beat events' prerty much as any other event, but in the lists of pages E-89, E-90 & E-91 no such event is listed. If I follow the procedure described in page E-99 and scroll across the possible events that appear on the screen its not there. So, any ideas on how to insert, say, one measure on 5/4 in between measures of 4/4. Thanks in advance! Fran
  12. No doubts that Mike Martin has done a lot, and has done it superbly. He's like a member of my family now, so often he's life-sized on the lcd screen of my living room repeating advice about my 3 Casio keyboards. I've seen the tutorials of Ralph and Funzie, but they are far from being MikeMartin-quality. It's a pity the judgement over the WK-7600. Its a good machine, but its true. I bought it second hand almost new from a dad changing to a simpler board for his son. When I started to understand what I had bought I was in awe. Actually, the WK-7600 still sells new in Chile, and not cheap compared to home keyboards, but I doubt anyone is using it as a composing tool. Me, on the other hand, is what I want to do the most, but I'm lacking the right shortcuts for busy lives aficionados that I could find for my PX-5S and my XW-P1. Long time ago I decided I was going to be a proud Casio-guy no matter what, and that's exactly what I am.
  13. Where can I find that long and slightly circular post?
  14. I'm guessing here that 6 years later there's no clinic on the WK-7600 yet, right?
  15. Well, that is that then. Is not a big deal, I can put the metronome through the external mixer as Mike suggested, one more cable crossing the room wont kill me (maybe wife will, though). I just thought that with all the nice tools the PX-5S is loaded with I was missing something. Thanks folks! F.
  16. Hi there. I don't think I saw this question posted before. Say I use the external audio input to listen to a metronome while playing. Is there a way to record audio without recording that metronome sound? that is, to record only what I'm playing without recording the external audio I'm listening to? I saw some other posts about alternatives to metronomes, but they didn't quite addressed this. Greetings!
  17. Awesome, Brad. I've already learned a lot from your answers to other's questions. I'll check out the video, just finished the "Back to Basics" of Mike, and I shall follow with this one. Greetings from Chile!
  18. Hi everybody. Probably a silly question. As I navigate the possible targets that can be assigned to the pedals I'm having difficulties understanding what do they actually mean. I see a lot of names like "CC02:" that have no description and seem to have zero effect over the sound when the pedal is pressed. Or fpr example, on stage settings such as 1-4 I find that the target for Pedal 1 is "Wah Manual" but I can't find the way to set that target for a custome stage setting. Is it maybe something related to the Tone settings? Is there some place in the manual where I can find a list of the meanings of all posible targets? I don't think so. Any tip is welcome, and you are allowed to give brutal feedback to this newbie XD
  19. Well that's excellent news! I'll be happy to play for that app. Good luck! Franz
  20. The "... ah!I and also need an SD card for my board..." in a cheap/tiny neighborhoo-office store while buying batteries for my kid's toys -class, so definetively not the best class. I'll by a good one today and let you know. Cheers!
  21. Stefano, did you ever solved this problem? I'm experiencing exactly the same. I'm thinking maybe I need a better quality SD card, one as fast as I can get... Let me know if you ever figured it out, ok? Regards!
