  1. WHat I have so far: Lower manual: Organ bass, add C3 chorus. No chiff, but usable lower manual 828 0000 00 Splitting with this on the bottom loses the character, so this is only useful solo. Upper or lead - None are really authentic, but the JS Organ is the closest typical patch - again, chorus helps. Splits? I have put acoustic piano on the bottom tuned +1 octave, organ patcheson top down an octave, split G4 so it'paino with occasional organ. Also one for Dynamic EP.The other organ sounds can be swapped out as your taste dictates, I found one that resembles 808 0000 008 with Rotary high but that's about all. If anyone has a better idea, feel free to chime in.
  2. I have a PXS3000 decent lower manual (80 8000 000) Tone from Bass 2 106 "Organ Bass" with chorus 3. I also have a usable JOS solo tone (88 0300 000)from Organ 01 JS Organ with the same C3 setting. I can transpose the bass up an octave so it is played one lower, and transpose the lead DOWN one, so a split at, say, G4 on the keyboard is a good option - play accompaniment on the lower, and solo or punch on the upper. I've done this on many other rigs. But if I use the split, I need the LOWER manual (bass) to have the chorus FX, the upper/solo can play dry and work, but the accompaniment NEEDS the chorus for realism. IS there ANY way to set it up. I tried layers, but can't set a start -end point for them. Or can I? I still need a decent bass during a solo, so just switching Areas on the fly won't help. Thanks. Any help or ideas appreciated.
  3. I bought a Samsung SMT-380 tablet -Galaxy Tab A - for $129, it works fine with the app. My iPhone XR also works fine.
  4. OK, here is what I have found. BOTH Appe and Android devices will wrk. Using an iPad mini, I can connect Lightning to USB-B with a dedicated cable, but it does not work with a USB-A and-A to B adapter. The same holds true with my Samsung Galaxy A tablet. Works great with the dedicated cable, but not with one needing the adapter. No camera adapter needed either, just get a USB-B (box end) to USB-C or Lightning cable and you are good to go. At least when sending FROM the app TO the keyboard.
  5. I used the camera adapter and a Type-B (big/square end) cord, no problem, boots right up. The other USB port fails every time. Have not yet tried a straight USB B to Lightning cable.
  6. Also be sure you have the pot on the side of the pedal set properly, you could have it effectively turned off.
  7. I am planning on using the Storage Banks as Sub-presets (one for piano, one for electric piano, for organ, etc. each with four variations, 4 different registrations. When performing live, does the PX-S3000 allow for the Bank button to be selected and the Area 1 to Area 4 buttons (as shown on pg EN-40) stay active for fast registration change while the performer continues to play? (Short form: can I set up 4 instant patch changes for single-press selection?) <Note: mine arrives Friday and I'm going to need it Sunday...> Thanks.
  8. I can understand not being able to rename "Registrations" on the keyboard itself, but in the Chordana app should EASILY be able to handle this, if your programmers have ANY savvy at all (I did that for years, that kind of capability is a no-brainer, and would make HUGE difference in live gig playability._ I don't receive my 3000 till next Thursday, but the programs/registrations I need to set up are very clearcut and name-worthy (I use the same names for the same setups across instruments, so naming conventions are important to those who are not content with factory sounds.). i can NEVER use factory patches, there is always a significant improvement to be made. (Sorry if that sounds like a rant.) So top of the Wish List, please.
