  1. Yes! Check out this thread for example: Plus you can get some Brazilian and Latin ones from here: https://www.casioteclados.com/ritmos/?t=107
  2. Wow, that was really cool. I'm surprised they allowed or "encouraged" you to disassemble and send inner parts. So happy it's working now! Just make sure the screen is calibrated. If the touch detection is a bit off, look for screen calibration in the forums.
  3. Is that you? Because the notes are not that accurate, sounds nice though. You can check this video, or page 30 from the manual:
  4. Por favor, usa inglés en el foro. Please, use English in these forums. I guess you are talking about Queen's song and not Pink Floyd's, right? 😅 I don't think there's a default sound which sounds similar enough, although there are a few which can be used, and you can tweak them to try to make them more similar. These are my suggestions (in order of tones, not preference): Strings / 016 Syn-Strings2: not that similar but has a nice powerful bass. Synth / 054 PolySynth: again, not that similar but just an option to play around, probably reducing the Release Time. Synth / 084 Space Pad: this one sounded quite nice to me, the Release Time may also be a bit too long. Hex Layer / 040 FastOctStrng: this one of course sounds more real and less synthy, but might still be worth a try. Layers 4 and 5 are a bit too bright/high, so I think it's better without them.
  5. So what you wanted is a registration to also load a MIDI and set the MIDI volume, right? I'm afraid that what you need to do is set the MIDI volume once, and then change MIDI track and registration accordingly for each setting. What might be of use is the auto-resume feature. That one does save MIDI volume and other MIDI stuff (not sure if any refers to the selected MIDI file though). You could try enabling that and check if when you turn it on it does what you need, at least for one MIDI file.
  6. In the Appendix page 13/14 column C shows what is saved with the Registration. According to it, nothing MIDI is saved, not even MIDI volume. Still, I'm not sure what exactly you expect the MIDI file to be used for. I think playing a MIDI is totally unrelated to the selected tones, rhythms, etc. You should be able to play a MIDI, load a registration, play, then load a completely different registration, and continue playing along the MIDI. Do you by chance expect the tones to be set to those of the MIDI? Forget about the MIDI for a minute, do registrations work? They have always worked for me, but there's a recent topic about them not working for some strange reason:
  7. If you record audio on that USB drive but while playing live, or any other MIDI file, does it also have gaps? To write uncompressed WAV the USB drive just needs 176 KB/s write speed, which should be easily surpassed by any old or cheap drive. If by chance it can't keep up, it's likely it's faulty or is starting to die. Just to be safe: did you open the WAV file and check the waveform to confirm it's an actual gap in the audio, and not a playback issue on your computer?
  8. Wow, that was so unfortunate but then lucky in the end!! You really are a PX560M repair master. 😎
  9. What about the default registrations? Do they load? Did you try loading a registration from a USB drive?
  10. Check out this recent post in the official Facebook group, may be of help: https://www.facebook.com/groups/PX5SPX560/posts/4753865504738990/ You need to be a member though. In case you don't want or can't, I leave here at least this link: https://proteo.me.uk/2018/08/diassembling-a-casio-priva-pro-px-5s There are some posts also about the same stuff here.

    Tuning to 432

Sorry to revive this old thread, but regarding 432 Hz... here are two great videos that go deeply into the matter.
  12. I you don't think you will get more ideas from what you have already received on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/PX5SPX560/posts/4728942540564620/ Were you able to use a compressed air can? And if you tried to include a second video, it's not working; you may want to edit your message.
  13. Did you already try blowing some air? That usually fixes most of the cases.
  14. Plus you can also use the modulation wheel to control a 4th parameter, and even an expression pedal for a 5th one if necessary, if I'm not mistaken.
  15. May be worth posting in a separate thread, but make sure it's not your stand. Try placing in a table and compare.
  16. That sounds awful, like if the processor is failing. Make sure the power adapter is fine, some times low voltages can produce weird behaviors.
  17. So if you move the pitch bend controller down, the keyboard plays in the right key? And if you set the pitch bend to 0, is it still one tone up? Very weird... BTW, the MP11SE is a fantastic keyboard, although of course much more expensive, bigger and heavier; a completely different league (for those wondering).
  18. So when you move the pitch bend down and it's configured to two semitones (as default), does it go down four semitones? If that's the case, both problems are clearly just one issue: faulty pitch bend controller. Or similarly: if you configure the pitch bend to zero semitones: is the out-of-tune problem gone? Last questions: when did this start? (I assume both issues at the same time) How old is the keyboard and how has it been stored so far?
  19. That is so weird. I think of a few things to check but if you did a factory reset... it should definitely be not transposed. What are you checking with? Did you just in case check with something else?
  20. Anytime! Oh, and about the presets... I did not try this, but maybe you need to edit the rhythm, save as a new one, and then edit the preset to use this new rhythm.
  21. I think that's like a breathing sound, which I'm not sure why it sounds looped. Compare with 560, 562 and 564, which are also breath sounds for other tones (although they sound better because the wave sample is longer). I think that 573 wave is used for the breath effect heard in Di Zi 2, not present in Di Zi 1, under the Ethnic category.
  22. Oh, that's so bad... I wonder if the touch screen itself exists in the market and can be obtained and replaced independently, like getting the exact brand and model. I'd say it's not actually made by Casio but by a 3rd party, right? Did you by chance look for broken PX-560M, PX-360M, MZ-X500 or MZ-X300? I think it's the same screen for all models.
  23. I must say I haven't tried all your scenarios, but I don't think there is much sense in trying #2 (additional unnecessary cable). About #3 , even if you pick a mono tone I think you could still have some effects which produce stereo sound, or for instance if you want to layer the piano with something else or use a rhythm. Anyway, even if you do pick a mono sound, you still have to choose between #1 and #2, don't you? The only case where choosing a mono sound would make a difference is if you used the R (not mono) output, right? That wouldn't make sense to me. Unless you have two mono amps, but that's not your case apparently. Long story short: use L/Mono as that's exactly what it is for. Regarding the sound optimization... I didn't do any comparison, but it seems that disabling the speakers should be better. I guess that's something you can easily test to see how much of a difference you hear with your particular setup. I would record something and then play back in front of the amp speakers to compare, not in front of the keyboard where the onboard speakers will affect your analysis.
  24. I don't think any keyboard manufacturer would go open source with their firmware/OSes. Did you mean that you upgraded the firmware, or something else? And what size change do you refer to? Maybe the MIDI editing feature?
