    1. Can someone provide a list of the acoustic piano tones/voices included? I can’t find a list online. I know it has a lot of electric piano voices but I really want to know what it offers in terms of acoustic options.

    Maybe this could help:

  2. The keyboard's connectors are mono (TS), not balanced mono (TRS), although I'm not sure if a microphone connected directly will work. Maybe you can try the Audio In instead (1/8 stereo miniplug), as it has a volume control. The manual doesn't even mention a microphone anywhere. I'm afraid you will need a mixer or something.

  3. I guess you mean "no rhythm sound is played", right?

Only the first track, "System Track", records anything related to the rhythm, so anything done when recording other tracks won't affect the accompaniment. Check the manual's page EN-57, under "Supported Track Data".

  4. You can create rhythms externally and then import them. I have never done it so I cannot give you more info than that. 😂

Anyway, here are some you can download (look for "CKF" in the titles):

You can also get some latin rhythms from here (page in Spanish but I guess anyone can use it):

  5. Hello!

I honestly think the default registrations have little to no value, I wouldn't mind losing them at all, as they seem to be very simple examples of how you could combine tones and rhythms. Anyway, you should still have one of them in some banks (23? 24?), unless you really used the 96 registrations. If you did, one option (I wouldn't do it) is to export all registrations, tones, etc. and restore to factory defaults, check the registrations and finally reload what you exported. Other option is to ask someone else who still has them (I guess many people here, me included), or even maybe you can probably find them in one of the many demo videos from Youtube.

  6. Yes, I've noticed that in many sounds, like strings, organs (e.g. Rock Organ 2 or OverdrivOrg1), Stereo Brass, Breathy TSax (especially at C4), and even in the slow fade-out of the piano's lower notes. It's often not very distracting, but it could be if you are by chance holding a particular note with a particular tone...

  7. Still not ideal, but maybe it could help: if you touch Bank, press Up and Down at the same time, it takes you to Bank 1, so then you can just click on Registration 1. Three touches, which with training can take just 1 second. 😅

I don't think they will be updating the firmware for any added functionality, just critical bugs I guess.

  8. In addition to what Tsquare said, you can record anything with the keyboard and then compare the format details between your files to see what's different (if the issue wasn't due to file placement). The format must be PCM 44100Hz stereo 16 bits 1411kbps.

Also I don't know if the wav would work if the file name is too long though.

I've also tried playing audio files through the Audio Line In, hoping the record them onto the Flash Drive but that doesn't work either!

About this, Audio In cannot be recorded, it goes directly to the speakers without any process besides the volume on the back. You need to use Line In to record. You can see this clearly in page A-6 of the manual, at the very end.

  9. You replied inside the quote, so people won't see your comment until they expand it. I recommend you edit your post and move the comment out of the quote. :)

Back to the topic, I still think it seems like a dirt issue. Usually all weird key behaviors are due to that, especially if it occurs only on specific keys, and/or randomly.

  10. As long as these conditions are satisfied, it should work:

    -The output voltage is 12VDC.

-The maximum output amperage is no less than 1 A (the manual says 10W), although 1.5+ A is preferable just in case.

    -The positive is inside.

-The coaxial power connector's internal and external diameters match those of the original one (I think they are 5.5mm/3.0mm).

  11. If I understand correctly, it's not resetting "all DSP effects to the default one", just re-starting the effects, which causes the in-progress ones to stop. You can notice that even when playing, pressing the registration also affects the effect. It is indeed strange or an issue that on playback it doesn't behave exactly the same though.

The "solution" would be then that the keyboard compares the whole current DSP settings with the ones from the registration, and if they match, not do anything DSP related, right?

I know that I save settings in the Registration, which I have been trying to do, but it doesn't seem to be working for me.

Is there someone that could walk me through step-by-step which buttons to press?

    I would appreciate it.

If for example you click on K1, change it to something else, and save a registration, when loading another registration and then the new one you should see the K1 assignment change on screen. And it should stay after turning it back on if you enable auto resume.

    Here you have a tutorial:

Seems to happen in a spot of a particular song.

What do you refer exactly with "a particular song"? A recording? Or just playing live? :D

Woops.  The problem seems to have cropped up again so the firmware upgrade did not do the trick.

If it was a recording, did it work fine for a while and now again it starts the ACCOMP automatically at that specific point? 🤔

To my ears, the B and C an octave above middle C are most different from all the other notes played.

Sounds fine here too. Are you saying that B4 and C5 have a tremolo effect? Have you tried doing a blind test, that is having someone play the notes without you looking and checking that you identify them correctly? (without having heard them recently, unless you have perfect pitch)

Besides, if it's due to equal temperament, you should have noticed this in every other keyboard as well (unless configured with another desired temperament).

Continuing with this topic, what I mean should be more noticeable with simpler tones, like Synth / 016 Sine Lead, optionally disabling effects in the main menu.

Like Brad suggested earlier, can you record a sample of what you mean?

    BTW, @Jokeyman123, happy 3,400 posts!!!!! :applause:🎉

  16. Does this happen when you play just one note, or only with several, like a chord? If it's the latter, I guess it's the fact that un equal temperament all notes are slightly out of tune. If in the settings you select pure major temperament on C, and play C, do you still hear that vibration?

Besides, if it's due to equal temperament, you should have noticed this in every other keyboard as well (unless configured with another desired temperament).

BTW, I never noticed any single piano sample being out of tune with itself. Indeed high keys have 3 strings while the lower notes end up with just one string. I just found this, interesting read (maybe related):
