  1. The knobs and sliders on my PX5S started spitting out random values out of nowhere. I took it apart isolated stuff and figured out that something is wrong with the motherboard. I unplugged the part of the keyboard that has the knobs and sliders on it from the motherboard, but now the values of all those sliders and the pitch bend wheel are set randomly to whatever they were at when it was unplugged. Because of the failure, I couldn’t zero them out before unplugging them. It’s out of warranty so I’m not sure if Casio can help. Is there a way to disable knobs and sliders and the pitch and mod wheels globally or to make the keyboard forget the last values it had? I tried doing a factory reset and knob calibration already. Thanks!
  2. Thank you so much! I somehow didn’t think of that. It’s back to normal now!
  3. This morning I moved my PX5s from one room to another and now one key won’t sound correctly when I play it repeatedly. On the first strike, it sounds right most of the time, but after that it’ll either sound muffled or won’t make noise at all. I’m thinking I might have jarred it when I moved it. I tried pushing up on the key, thinking something might have been stuck somewhere and it popped out partly. I pushed it back in. It feels completely normal and the same as the other keys but the problem is still there. I’ve checked all my cables, rebooted it multiple times and unplugged it and let it sit for a while it see if that helped. None of these have changed anything. Can someone help me out?
  4. Thanks! When I sample the sound, my audio interface is going to reduce its quality a bit. Is there any way to get around that? Is it possible to download samples from the PX5S online, or something like that?
  5. Is there a way to download samples of tones from the PX5S and add them to Logic to create a virtual instrument that’s a tone from the keyboard? I know I can use an audio interface to get the audio from the keyboard into Logic, but I’d like something I can quantize like I would the virtual instruments built into Logic. I assume I could just record audio samples through that interface and put it into EXS24 somehow, but I think that might be hard to do and the results would depend on the quality of the interface. I’m fairly new to EXS24 and don’t fully understand what it can and can’t do. How do I get the result I want?
  6. I’d like to connect both audio and midi to my computer from my keyboard. Is it possible to do this without an audio interface and with just a USB cable??Does the USB cable transmit audio as well as midi? The end result I’m hoping for is midi data in Logic that I can edit that sounds like the tone I have on the keyboard. If this isn’t possible, is there a way to connect just audio through a USB cable, so I can play it back in Logic?
