  1. Hi I hope someone at Casio reads this. As the title of my post suggests, I would like help with finding an EU type AC Adaptor for a MZ-X500 keyboard. The manual for this keyboard specifies an : AD-E24250LW AC Adaptor. I've been searching the net for one such adaptor, with limited success. I wonder if Casio have made different adaptors for different markets? Like, would there be one for the US and one for Germany, for instance? If so, what is the model-name for the european adaptor? Thank you! Jay 🎹
  2. Thanks, Brad. I'll try that
  3. Hi I have this issue with me beloved XW-G1, that I would like help with. If I record and save a phrase and then add that phrase to a performance (and save that aswell), it seems to forget that phrase next time I recall the same performance. Instead, it just picks Phrase P0-0 SynthPhrase 1. So, I manually have to go back into the phrases menu using the phrase keyplay button on the front of the XW-G1 to select the right user phrase. But isn't the synthesizer supposed to store both these settings and changes in settings - even after the power has been turned off? Jay 🎹
  4. Ok, so I spent hours producing this short video - I hope you like it . All music is played on the CT-370. I sampled the drum sounds in order to have a steady drum beat, but apart from that, all is played and recorded manually. Jay 🎹
  5. Hi I bought a standard guitar strap for my CT-S1. I'm sure that could work for a CT-S1000V too :

Hey For fun I sampled some drum sound from my CT-370 to my XW-G1, and made a sequence aswell. In this upload, I've included four files: CT-370 Drums Sequence.wav - an audio file for demonstration purposes CT-370__.ZPF - a performance file that links every thing together CT-370__.ZSS - a step sequencer file CT-370_D.ZWT - a user wave tone Once loaded, the performance lets your play five sampled drum sounds from the keyboard: C2 - Bass Drum 2 C# - Rim Shot E2 - Snare Drum F#2 - Closed Hihat 1 Bb2 - Open Hihat 1 You can use Knobs K1-K4 to adjust the internal equalizer too. The step sequence has currently four different patterns that all make use of the sampled drum sounds. You can hear it in the wav file. Notice: The performance file expects the user wave tone to be placed in slot 209 and the sequence to be placed in slot 3-7. Enjoy! Jay 🎹

  8. A short video featuring four Casio keyboards in concert - if you will. I made it with inspiration from some other videos that have been posted on this forum - as a "proof of concept" or just as an experimental video, really. Jay 🎹
  9. ok, I called this piece of music "Organ-iq Postlude". That's nice. Music can really help guide one's emotions like that ...
  10. Hi and Thanks! Glad you like it. I am not sure whether I understand your question correct, do you mean the motif of the music or the chords? It's just an improvisation, really
  11. I recorded what sounds like a postludium or postlude using the CT-370 with its Pipe Organ tone and added some effects to it
  12. I can't belive I haven't seen this thread before, but anyway: My first Casio keyboard was / is a CT-370
  13. Nice groove you got going there - what instrument are you using?
  14. So, thank you Mike Martin and Rich Formidoni for this presentation. It looks like an exciting product feature this voice synthesis, not to forget the sampler.
  15. I answered AiX, that I have in the CT-S1, but I also like the "CD sound source" in my CT-370 (PCM Samples). AiR would come in second
  16. Does using an Amiga 500 running OctaMED (via Workbench 1.2) together with your keyboad (through MIDI and all), in this case a XW-G1 synth, qualify for this thread ?
  17. Casio CT-1000V, new keyboard with vocal synthesis is coming soon (synthanatomy.com)
  18. The outline of the product in the last two videos looks like my CT-S1 with some extra buttons added - I see a pitch bender and four knobs, a display even ?
  19. Here's a piece I dug up from my memories. Memories about a song I made on my Amiga 500 computer when I was a teen. What you hear is freely derived from this song. For this recording I have used my 3 Casio keyboards: PX-5S playing "Deckards Lead", XW-G1 playing "StringsVoice" and finally the CT-S1 delivers "Stage Piano". Add to that some effects Tip: Try listening with your eyes closed. Jay 🎹
