That address does exist. I have set it up as a backup address for managing things here. Checking logs, nothing was sent from that address. I'll look into it. It may be automated emails from the forum software itself.

Hamburg Berlin and vienna lower volume then others
Mike Martin replied to Mitra's topic in Celviano Grand Hybrid Series
The dynamic response of the acoustic pianos are optimized for realism and expression, the dynamic range is quite wide. As mentioned, adjusting the keyboard response to lighter will reduce this wide dynamic range. Other tones - organ, electric piano, pipe organ...etc are amplified instruments that don't have the same dynamic response as acoustic grand. Strings are optimized to sit nicely with the piano tones. -
Aside from the PX-5S of course, the XW-P1 is my favorite. What has always amazed me compared to the PX-5S is how remarkably different they sound. Dial in a HexLayer on the PX-5S that is programmed exactly the same way as the XW-P1 and they sound completely different in a good way. The PX-5S can sometimes sound TOO BIG, while the XW-P1 has the ability to fit in with other instruments really well. Add some external effects and it gets even better.

Bring it the next time you stop by the Casio office and I'll do it for you.

Dial back the release time on the Electric Pianos to give them a snappier release. They're great sounds.

...and I missed you at the Casio office once again. Send me a message next time you're here (before you get here).

Discussing the Casio PXS3000 and Review | NAMM 2020
Mike Martin replied to kybdsammer's topic in Privia PX-S Series
I'll just comment with this for now, a quote from photographer Scott Bourne: -
Then it should be returned to your dealer or a Casio warranty service center.

Mike Martin replied to Ralf11's topic in Privia PX-S Series
Not possible via a firmware update. -
XW-P1 vs. Behringer model D or Pro-1
Mike Martin replied to Jokeyman123's topic in General XW Series Discussion
I don't know that they'd compare much at all but I'm sure they'd compliment each other. One of the best things about the XW-series is its unique character. Naysayers dismiss the XW-series because of one reason or another - those are the things to embrace. An analog synth, regardless of brand would be a nice add-on to an XW - plus you could use the XW's sequencer to control it and use it from performance mode in combination with XW sounds. -

Lyle Mays was a huge hero of mine. His playing transcends any words that I can say about him. I'm at a loss for words anyway. Keyboard Magazine has a nice feature on him today: As a small tribute to him, I recreated his signature lead sound for the PX-5S, PX-560, MZ-X500 and XW-P1. You can find them in their respective categories in the Downloads section.

Just FYI - there is a new firmware in final quality control that fixes this issue. It will be released in the next couple weeks.

PX-5S suddenly not working as MIDI device on Mac OS
Mike Martin replied to PianoguyWes's topic in Privia Pro PX-5S
We've confirmed from multiple sources, there are no compatibility issues with Catalina and Casio Class-compliant USB MIDI devices like the PX-5S and others. -
Temporary solution. Use user memory locations 25 or 36 for your user kit and you shouldn't have any problems. The Tokyo team will look into this further.
