Classic late 70's String Machine sample for the MZ-X300 and MZ-X500.
  2. New CP-80 sample posted in the Downloads section. Enjoy
  3. Version 1.0.0

Sample of a classic Yamaha CP-80 piano. The .ZTN version should load into either a MZ-X300 or MZ-X500. The .ZLT version is a HexLayer (single layer) but allows for slightly better expression due to the tools available.
  4. More models coming soon - patch scripts for Cubase, Digital Performer, Cakewalk (Sonar) and ProTools. https://support.casio.com/en/support/download.php?cid=008&pid=20
  5. You can not edit tones on the CT-X800, it is identical to the CT-X700 in this regard. You can create your own unique layers & splits and store these as registrations. These are what you use to get to tones quickly.
  6. It is not available in the CT-X700/800. You can adjust everything in the CT-X3000/5000
  7. Marcie, To be clear, you're using the headphone jacks on the front left of the instrument? Are you certain of your purchase date? Your instrument had 3 year warranty so all of this would have been covered. On an instrument like this Casio does in-home service but you're outside of the warranty period. Since you warranty has expired, you can take it to any electronics service center. The ones on the Casio website are only the authorized warranty centers but some place else may still be able to fix it.
  8. They're identical in this regard. All tones & editing are the same.
  9. They're really stellar. What has amazed me is how much you can customize things. I think I counted 92 speaker/amp combinations in the distortion effects. Unreal.
  10. You have to paste the full link here, that is all. You used an abbreviated Youtu.be link

  13. The PX-360M will not play back MP3 files. Aystaum is correct that files must be converted to .wav to be played back on the PX-360. I'm not 100% certain on the PX-360 but on most Privia models the files must be labeled TAKE00.wav, TAKE01.wav....etc to be recognized. Don't forget that the PX-360 has audio inputs on the back so you could also play back audio through the PX-360 from another device.
  14. Aystaum, Here are two videos below which may help you. -T- has been correct on all points with the information he has provided in this and other threads. I'm not aware of any other software tools available - the tools that Casio uses internally do not run on Mac or Windows as far as I know. Here is another by Casio Australia.
  15. Randy, this is way off topic for this thread. I'm no stranger to the forum, I helped get it started and as you can see I have nearly 1,000 posts here. I do read the as much of the forum as often as I can. As for feature requests we always collect them and forward to Japan but we can never guarantee an instrument will do more than what it initially did when it was introduced. Bugs are one thing but new features are a completely different issue. As for support materials, yes Rich and I are spread very thin and unfortunately we haven't been able to spend as much time on MZ-X as we would like. I spent a lot of my personal time on a sound development project for MZ-X that unfortunately was all lost when my laptop was stolen last year. Believe it or not it is very difficult for us to do video tutorials during work hours so we really have to put in a lot of extra time that goes above and beyond how we normally spend our days. We're working as hard as we can.
  16. Here in the USA the MZ-X300 is almost twice the price of the CT-X5000. Higher polyphony, touch screen, sampling...lots of differences actually.
  17. Yes and the number pad can also be used as mute switches to turn on/off different accompaniment parts.
  18. CT-X700 is available now. All other models, end of May. At least that is when we will get them in the USA.
