  9. Tniconson, If you have specific questions please post them here.
  10. The Step Sequencer can play samples. I honestly only use the sample loading capabilities of the G1 to put in new drum sounds. You have to create a custom drum kit which uses those samples but then you're good to go.
  11. Great job JimmyJames! Thanks for submitting. Quick tip for non-piano sounds, set the "Hammer Response" setting on the Stage Settings / Common page to 0.
  12. Yes it's a go. 7pm EST www.ustream.tv/casiomusicgear

An animated sound utilizing 3 arpeggios at once. You can say I can "Carried Away" with the arpeggiators tonight. Some special elements used in this 4 Zone Stage Setting. One arpeggiated part has the LFO Wah (very slow) which gives the part some nice tonal change while its played. A second part is using the "controller track" in the arpeggiator to pan it from side to side. Updated: Knobs 1-4 control volume of each part.
  14. I may be able to do it this week July 25th. I'll confirm Monday.
  15. Bill, Regarding the EQ. You're using the DSP EQ or the Master EQ? Can you post your ALL file here in the thread so I can check it? I'll be away from my PX-5S until Monday so I can't check it or what you're describing in the LFO until then.
  16. The fact is that the PX-5S will and can sustain when you switch Stage Settings. Switch from 0-0 to 0-1 while sustaining and you'll see. It will drop out however when the active zone is switching between the regular tone engine and the HexLayer engine. To minimize this you could edit some of the Stage Settings and switching things that are on Zone 1 to in inactive Zone like 3 or 4 leaving Zones 1-2 open to switch between Hex Layer Sounds. I realize this is a work around but it is possible to eliminate it completely with some work.
  17. Well you could do something like a change in Filter Cutoff when the HOLD button is used. There are all kinds of applications.
  18. Do you have a Logitech Webcam? Their drivers are known to interfere with MIDI. Have you tried a different USB Cable?
  19. Yes it is a hardware limitation.
  20. Late September or early October from what I understand.
  21. Recorded live, just messing around. The XW is running through a Nova Delay pedal for some added space. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/61043775/PX-5S%20XW%20Improv.mp3
  22. It is a performance tool and editor.
  23. No it won't. Currently this is iPad specific. The reality is I'm just duplicating the Mac/PC editor functionality in a different way. Because it is a touch surface and not something that requires a mouse it is easier to "perform" changes to the sound in real-time. In theory something similar is possible on a Windows 8 tablet in the future.
