  1. Brad...it will indeed go to the next or previous track, but it does so immediately rather than playing the current track thru to the end and then advancing. That's what I was trying to do. The difference in the CTX and my Roland VR-09 is that the Roland will let me pull up the next track; then when the current one is finished, all I have to do is hit play and the next one I have called up plays. And it doesn't have to be in sequential order. The way the CTX works, as far as I know, is that I have to wait until the current track (or file) is finished; then I can scroll to the next one and hit play. It's something I've learned to deal with, but I was just wondering if there was something I had missed. Thanks for all your help! I love this forum.
  2. Thank you! I'll give that a try in just a few minutes!
  3. Thanks to all! On my Yamaha, I'm able to pull up a track (wav or midi), select the file I want to play, and while it's playing, select the next one. The display will say "next" on the next midi or wav file. That way it's continuous from song to song. On the Casio I have to wait until the current selection is finished, then select the next one. Thanks for your help; I'll just have to live with it!
  4. I create my own backing tracks and play along with them. I know how to pull them up one at a time, but is there a way with the CT-X5000 that I can pull up a track to play, and then choose the next one so it will play automatically after the current one is finished? That would really help the flow of things. Thanks!
  5. Hi all...I am really enjoying my CT-X5000! There are three settings I have to go thru every time I power up: Speaker on/off (I prefer off), Auto on/off (I prefer off), and expression pedal calibration. Is there any way to permanently set these three settings so they are the way I would like them to be without having to set them every time I power on? Thank you so much...
  6. Is it possible to add tremolo to the 60's piano sound, to make the tremolo Wurlitzer tone?
  7. Thanks, all! I have been able to manipulate the click organ tone to a decent 8884 setting (changes to the rotary DSP mostly). If I could figure out which other tone to begin with to get 888400004, that would be awesome! Just haven't found it yet! I am really loving my CTX5000; stopped playing my Roland VR-09 and am playing the CTX instead!
  8. Is there any hope for drawbars on a future CT-X5000? Like the MZX500?
  9. Thanks, Brad. I was hoping I could take one and manipulate the filters to simulate the sound I was looking for. Not a deal-breaker, by any means! I'm just an old organ guy who has to change some!
  10. I want to create an organ tone with drawbar settings 888000004. Is there a tone I can begin with to accomplish this? On my Roland VR-09, I use two typical settings for organ: 888000000 and 888000004. I have manipulated the click organ tone to get very close to 888000000. Thanks for any help! LOVE my CT-X5000!
