It appears Casio makes a strap that will work with the CT-S1000V. They are currently advertising it as a freebie with purchase of the keyboard. I was interested in buying one but can't find it listed on the Casio site. Anyone know where it can be purchased? Thanks for any info Pat Leach

Planet Keyboard has some good rhythm files that will work. They are listed for the CT-X 3000 and 5000 but also worked perfectly in my CT-S1000V. They are relatively inexpensive and I thought they were mostly very useable. https://www.planetkeyboard.com/

Does anyone know which Casio Keyboard models (if any) will create AC7 rhythms that would work on the CT-S1000V?

Is there a way to apply the EQ filter to the rhythm part? there are some rhythms that could definitely use a bass boost and mid range cut. I did not see anyway to accomplish this. Ideas? Thanks! Pat

I thought I had located a proper case in the Casio SC 650 so I ordered one. It arrived Friday and is not what I expected. The dimensions are fine, however it's end loading and can only has backpack style carrying handles. Both deal breakers for me. I'm in the process of returning it but would like to find something of similar size with conventional side loading and regular handles. There are tons of cases available but so far they are all 15" to 16" wide and the CT-S1000 would be bouncing around in all that space. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Pat

ON my CT-S1000 V There must be an incredibly easy answer that I'm missing but: Where's knob 3 ?The volume knob is on the wrong side and as far as I can see only controls volume. The large knob on the right side of the display controls parameters but not values. Also you would use it while playing to change tones so it seems like you couldn't use it to adjust values in real time. Those are the only knobs on the front of my keyboard. Perhaps it was an optional extra? (just kidding)

How do you apply active DSP effects to tones and then save them to registration banks? It seems like when you leave the active dsp menu, the effect disappears? The descriptions in the user guide aren't making much sense to me on the subject. Thanks!

Ok, I should have looked a little further. The answer as I understand it is no. You can modify (to some extent) existing tones and save them as registrations and that becomes your "user Bank" as such. That raises the question about whether someone with strong skills in tone design could put together a set of registrations that were awesome and share them with other users? Could banks be imported easily into another instrument of the same model?

I downloaded a number of TON files from the downloads on the site but could not see any way to install them. I know you can create unique splits and layers and add special effects with the existing tones and save them as registrations. Is that the only option for adding custom tones?
