  1. An update. So the guy that sold me the pedal didn't give me the cord that came with the pedal. A friend of mine picked up the pedal for me be ause he lived near the seller. I tried to use a guitar cable to connect the pedal but I now see that I need a stereo TRS cable. I didnt notice this until I looked at the cable that came with my M Audio pedal. I'm assuming that this how the pedal gets power. I've ordered a new cable as I don't have any that are stereo so this should fix the issue. Please comment.
  2. I purchased a used Moog EP-3 expression pedal to replace the M Audio one I had but it's not controlling the volume like it should. There's no response to the volume when rocking the pedal up and down. The volume is always on and I can only control it using the volume knob on the keyboard. I went through the same procedure to set it up as I did with my M Audio pedal as shown in the manual on pages 9-10. I hooked M Audio pedal back up and it works fine. Maybe I bought a dud but before I contact the seller I'd like to know if anyone else has encountered a similar issue or maybe I'm missing something. Is there some kind of reset that needs to be done before I hook up the Moog pedal? Thanks
  3. Thanks kindly Brad. It's starting to make more sense. Going to play around with it some more but I do see now where you can change the knob setting in the CTRL menu. Will play around with settings and make sure I've got knob 1 set to DSP. Cheers!
  4. If I'm understanding you correctly then, Rock Organ 2 is already preset with the rotary effect to begin with and I didn't have to modify the preset. I should have been able to speed up or slow down the rotary effect already using Knob 1. Is there somewhere that shows the presets already assigned to Knob 1 & 2 for each tone? Thanks.
  5. Thanks for your reply Mark. I think I'm getting confused by how the DSP works. I set up the DSP for the JS Organ with a rotary effect controlled by Knob 1 to slow down and speed up the Leslie effect. I wanted to do the same for Rock Organ 2 but it sounds like what you're telling me is that it already is set up to do this. Please excuse my ignorance as I've been trying to understand the instructions in the manual about DSP but it's got me confused. By me going in and trying to edit the DSP maybe this is why the sound changes. I did change Knob 1 function to 14, DSP Parameter before making the changes in DSP. Thamks for your help.
  6. Any idea why the tone of the organ would change so dramatically vs the original tone before I assigned Knob 1 to control the rotary sound? I didn't have this issue when I did the same thing to the JS Organ tone. The Rock Organ 2 is the tone I'm having the issue with if that makes a difference.
  7. I've set up my rotary speaker effect so that the speed is controlled by Knob 1 but was wondering if Knob 2 can be set up to control the tone the same way as knob 1 was when in the default DSP mode. The tone of the organ changes dramatically after assigning Knob 1 as the rotary speaker speed control and I'd like to be able to add some more highs. Is it possible to do this or is Knob 2 frozen at its default setting? Thanks.
  8. Thanks. That's what I wound up buying. The taper on it isn't as good as I'd like but you can't beat the price.
  9. This topic answered some of the questions I had about the Leslie rotary effect. I just got my px-S3000 about 2 weeks ago and have been working my way through some of the features I'm likely to use. I still need to play around with the accel and decel rates as right now I don't feel it's quite right. I'll add that I am used to playing an organ through a Leslie cabinet using a Leslie pre amp pedal so I do have experience with this effect. So if knob 1 controls turning the Leslie effect on and off what, if any, function does knob 2 control? Curious minds would like to know 😁.
  10. Just following up. Got the correct cables and and am able to connect to the app now. Have to figure out how to use the app now. 😂 Thanks.
  11. Hi There, I'm looking to buy an expression pedal to use as a volume pedal on my recently purchased 3000 and would appreciate feedback on what pedals I should consider. Thanks
  12. Yes, Tried using the older app but I can't get a connection. I bought the adapter beacuse my tablet does have the newer C type connection and I couldn't find a cable that has the B type connector needed at the piano and my type of connector at the tablet. Sounds like the signal might not be getting from the tablet to the piano. Thanks for the link. I'll check it out.
  13. Hi There, I'm having issues with the new app. I tried to dowload it but I get a message saying my tablet isn't compatible. Just got my 3000 last week but I had to order an adapter to go from usb B to A female so I could hook it up to my regular usb cable I use to charge my tablet. My tablet is an Android (Samsung). Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
