  1. The Casio MZ-X is Casio's top of the line arrangers. CT-X Line is Enhanced CTK Line
  2. I'm sorry. I disagree with you. He would casio for example take reduce factory rhythms than take a precious resource from it. tone balance is a serious fault. Remove pitch bend modulation reduce polyphony Not even editing a style is conceivable. But the CTK line up to the 6250 does this feature. If Casio made the Great Sound Engine advertisement it would have to at least give it freedom to change the volumes of UPPERS AND LOWERS. It's the same thing as creating a sport car without reversing. I participate in the forum because I like Casio and we should contribute its great features but also points out its flaws. Business today in the keyboard market is attracting the beginners in music and holding them to the professional lines.
  3. Are you serious? Imagine mixing two accordions and can not move the volumes. Imagine mixing a trombone and a trumpet and one of them sounding too loud. Imagine the Strings sound louder than the acoustic piano.
  4. Casio really got it wrong with the CT-X700 CT-X800. Not being able to change UPPER and LOWER volumes is a serious fault
  5. Great advantage of MZ-X can add wave samples as well as edit a complete internal kit.
  6. Hello! In the video a short explanation about using DSP on Casio MZ-X. Rhythm part without conflicts.
  7. A friend of the group came up with this version. I think we'll have 1.7 on the Casio MZ-X. Good thing Casio didn't forget us. Here in Brazil now is beginning to be successful. Go Casio! Um amigo do grupo veio com esta versão. Acho que teremos 1,7 no Casio MZ-X. Ainda bem que Casio não se esqueceu de nós. Aqui no Brasil agora está começando a ter sucesso.
  8. 1-STYLE EDITOR DOES NOT SAY CLOSING THE EDITOR BY MISTAKE AND THERE IS NO RECOVERY TO SAVE 2-MIDI CONNECTION WITH DAW MAKES ERRORS IN CHANNELS 9 AND 10 3-BUG PITCH BEND WHEN TUNING PARTS IN EDITOR STYLE (KEYBOARD CRASH) 4-BUG ON SCRIPT https://support.casio.com/en/support/download.php?cid=008&pid=2305 WHEN INSTRUMENT CHANGING WHERE THE KEYBOARD IS ENDING SOUND IN TONES GM 5-DSP ACTIVATION AND DISABLING ON THE MODULATION BUTTON IS VERY CONFUSED AND NOT EFFECTING WITH THE PRESSED BUTTON 6-EXTRATIFICATION AT CTX IS SOMETHING UNKNOWN TO ME AND NOT EFFECT TO WHAT I THINK. FOR ME EXTRACTIFICATION WOULD BE TWO TONE SOUNDS IN DIFFERENT DYNAMICS 7-SUSTAIN BUTTON IS SOMETHINGLY DISPENSABLE AS THIS BUTTON ON THE CTX AND ALSO IN CASIO MZ-X CAN EASILY BE ACTIVATED BY A CHEAP SUSTAIN PEDAL. CASIO COULD CREATE AN UPDATE TO CREATE ANOTHER PROGRAMMABLE FEATURE ON THIS BUTTON. (ON ROLAND E-50 FOR EXAMPLE VLINK BUTTON CAN BE CHANGED YOUR PROGRAMMING AND USED UNTIL TO DISABLE ACCOMPANYING). 8-MID SMF CONVERTER FOR CT-X SERIES NEEDS DONE URGENTEMENT.
  9. I have the CT-X 5000 here. I thought he has a lot of work for the basics. Putting numeric shortcuts as codes doesn't work at all intuitively. Your new sound engine may have new articulation possibilities but I don't think it beats the MZ-X. The MZ-X may have a higher sound card. Using DAW Sonar with the official script I noticed that it does not exactly obey instrument changes and Channel 9 with 10 come into conflict when using two different drum kits. There was an improvement in reading record changes compared to the CTK line and there is no more bug in registration exchanges. What did did not like me was the lack of physical buttons for UPPERS AND LOWERS. It is difficult to switch real-time sounds with one button.
  10. DSP on the Casio MZ-X works like Schrödinger's Cat. Sometimes the DRAWBAR sound gets Leslie disabled and the sound only works by selecting DRAWBAR on UPPER1. Some MZ-X Rhythms have some DSP sounds, which ends up disabling that drum sound you have edited with COMPRESSOR that you want to put into rhythm. Attention to guitars, organs and other items.
  11. A while ago I noticed that Factory Rhythms have different arrangements for Major and Minor chords. I have tried unsuccessfully to create midis with CASM editor but on import there is no recognition of MZ-X. Casio might as well release this different arrangement creation feature in Rhythms. Below is an absurd list of Yamaha Rhythm Manipulation Programs. Casio could have some AC7 editing software. It is the AC7 closed file type that exists. http://www.jososoft.dk/yamaha/software.htm
  12. Hi, thank you Brad and Jockeyman123. I think it's a shame that Casio behaves like that. I contacted CASIO Germany one more time and they at least appealed to me to send me the information for calibrating the touch pad. They offered to "fix" the MZ-X. For this I have to send in the instrument. That's exactly what I wanted to avoid. Because CASIO does not meet me, I contacted the dealer and described the problem to him. For economic and logistical reasons, it would be better if I could solve the problem myself. The dealer has written "He will check what he can do". If I do not receive any information from the dealer to calibrate the touch pad, then he must bear all costs for troubleshooting under German law. The keyboard was already delivered with the problem. Therefore, I believe that I still have the best chances of the dealer to get the information needed. Casio does not supply spare parts to customers on the German website. That's why I bought a MZ-X300 a few months ago. If necessary, I can use this as a spare parts dispenser. In summary, I do not think that's customer friendly. It is clear that CASIO can not offer the same hardware quality for the relatively low sales price as other manufacturers whose instruments cost several times. I'm talking about CASIO's top product, not a cheap keyboard, which you simply throw away in the event of a defect. I hope Casio reads this post and thinks about his attitude in the future. Regards Popsel
  13. latest version is 1.6. I heard rumors here in Brazil that Casio is implementing new keyboard with more powerful processor. So I don't know if they will update. Maybe someone in engineering can answer you. Mike Martin is one of them neueste version ist 1.6.
  14. Scat Vox sound is multilayer. is a sound already in ztn format for both models MZ-X
  15. Rhythms, memory registration, edited tones I believe fit the memory of MEGABYTES LIMIT (128 MZ-X300 AND 256 MZ-X500) How much WAVE sample memory is the number of samples that has this limit. The question is how many WAVE samples
  16. Excellent your point of view. I already checked MZ-X with a sample limit when I had to uninstall one ZTN to install another. To get the exact number I would have to format my MZ-X reinstall a ZTN file of many samples until the DATA FULL alert appears.
  17. Well everyone knows that the MZ-X has its limits of 128mb MZ-X300 and 256Mb MZ-X500. The question is what exactly number of samples does MZ-X support until it gives the warning: DATA FULL.😢 Anyone connected to the technical area to answer? I have 110 megabytes left and the MZ-X is already warning DATA FULL. This was missing in the MANUAL. I Have the MZ-X500
  18. YEA. Mzx is a powerful synthesizer. But we also want great arranger resources
  19. So you should not call yourself MZ-X. The MZ-X line is of keyboard arrangers. Synthesizer you ask in the Privia section or XWP1. If I am going to put here the List of Rhythm Improvements and sampler player. It will greatly saturate the MZ-X along with your request.
  20. I do not think it's possible because the MZ-X's sample memory is printed circuit. What Casio could do was an overclock in memory and CPU to not have to use more Preload memory. 30.720Kb is very little.
