  3. 2Joe Which of CDP models have you tried personally? i cannot find information about CDP 240 on Casio website but it is available on amazon. Is it the latest CDP model available in US (according to its number)? it feels like the list of models is much longer than what is available on websites
  4. CDP 235 and 220 are available on ebay. I remember I tried 235 at Casco (last year). The look of it is impressive. If am not mistaken the number but it had a very similar look just like 235. P.S. I found my post about CDP-240. It is available on Amazon.
  5. As far as I know, CDP already had scaled, weighted, hammer action. Interesting - are 100 and 350 going under $200 price range? These models are for Europe, I have a feeling they will not be shown at NAMM in LA.
  6. MZ does not have weighted keys this is the major factor why I did not buy any XW, MZ. I had PSR for many years (20) did not like its action (however sounds are great as well as arrangement features ). When I started learning piano it served well for a month or two. Then I felt that I am missing something important. The first chose was CDP. It was totally fine. My family disliked it very much due to its nosiness. CDP was replaced within a year for PX360. I had a hope that a higher model will provide better/quieter keys-bed. Nope, it did not happen. The sound quality is better but the keys-bed was exactly the same. I had to start looking for some other brands. Roland , Kurzweil, Korg, Yamaha, Kawai. The truth is I have never had a good look at Kawai and Kurzweil they are pretty rare in the demo rooms. The Roland FA (used one) had a perfect keyboard. Still, the most fun for me in terms of a feel. I always kept in mind a sound engineering subject. This served as the reason for switching to Montage (now I have two subject to learn ) - MZ did not get in the list not because of the brand, but due to its class (I still like the concept of it as well as of XW and P5S).
  7. You should try. You are playing piano for 4 years. If you would save $200 every month you would have by now $9000. See what you actually would buy(it is very tricky) How do you like the manual for MZ? Is it useful?
  8. and 'y' sells their synths with royalty-free license by default. (at least the latest models) Which means to me you have to buy it first (I can be wrong).
  9. When I hear about longer sustain I think about CDP. This model does have too short sustain (~6 seconds).
  10. I don't quite understand what it proves. This can be done without any external instrument at all. A computer internal sound card has high-quality sound for all instrument in an orchestra. It could be done on PSR which cost $200-300. I know for sure everyone makes it own chose. If you bought something that's the call. You can say it is the best since you made a responsive decision. But it is still subjective for everyone else. Another approach is to go through specs and compare every feature one by one. It works for some characteristics, but It is not possible to compare different engines- SuperNatural vs AWM2 or FX-M or A.i.r. and vs acoustic 6'2'' or 9' Grand. The bottom line for me, all brands make high-quality instruments. There is a bias which puts one brand over another, for instance, I would not consider buying Alesis or Suzuki DP. But I know for a fact that Suzuki makes nice digital pianos with all GM instrument on board.

  12. he got a dislike from me (this virtually never happens) This video is about nothing from nobody PX 360 and 560 provide arranger functionality
  13. No problem There is the Share button under your video on youtube. Click it and copy/paste the provided link. This is a nice live performance. How many attempts did take to record this one? Is this a final version or you are going to speed it up later?
  14. I've got a similar impression. It is too good to be so short
  15. Hi Sergio, This time I got notification from youtube. This is great music!
  16. Hope they've fixed the noisy keys I cannot care about Bluetooth less than anything else.
  17. Probably not (I do not see any extra benefits) I have subscribed for your channel on YouTube.
  18. Thank you! That is a very creative way to describe an impression!
  19. There is a limit of 8 MB size per file for free membership. I had to reduce the bitrate for the piece to 270 to make it fit (3m 50secs) You get some statistics about listeners, but not much. If you decide to register there let me know I will be your fan :)
  20. Thank you! If you are asking about other audios posted at reverb... the answer is yes. videos are my lessons and audio are the original compositions.
