  1. In most keyboard / digital piano advertisements, "German piano" indeed refers the Steinway In the Celviano Grand Hybrid models, there is a tone called "Hamburg Grand" which is sampled from a Steinway.
  2. My attempt of arranging this popular Japanese Anime/video game soundtrack, using only Casio CT-X700 and Salsa 2 rhythm. Created with 6 track MIDI recorder with additional filler tones Listen here
  3. I have been wondering if we will ever get a successor to the PX-360 and CGP-700 in terms of features. These two are the only ones that have 16-track MIDI Recorder outside of Privia Pro and Hi-Grade Keyboard lineup, as well as the rhythm editor. Don't forget the Touch Panel screen. The current PX-S3000 and S3100 are so far great, but in my opinion, they didn't qualify enough as a successor to PX-360/CGP-700. While they contain AiX and AiR sounds in one package, they still lacked some features that makes PX-360 a great model, such as the 16-track MIDI recorder and the Touch Panel screen. PX-S3000 is more like a advanced successor to the PX-160, combined with CT-X sounds outside of piano. Share your opinions below, any criticism and suggestion are welcome
  4. S360 is more of less similar to the S350 In the meantime, I would love to see something equivalent to PX-360 and CGP-700 to return, maybe in the form of next-gen CDP-S (and PX-S as well). The 16-track MIDI recorder on those two models was a killer feature, the only time that 16-track recorder was made available outside the Pro or High-Grade instruments
  5. I've been thinking of getting built-in rhythms from older models (e.g. CTK-5000, CTK-7000, PX-350, etc.) to be used on the CT-X. If there are any, where can I find those built-in rhythm files? (AC7 format) CT-X700's rhythms are good enough, but I do need some expansion in my collection
  6. For better piano sounds, I use GrandPiano (002) or GrandPianoWide (011), then set the Equalizer to Soft It sounds slightly better than the default StagePiano (001)
  7. I would love to have older Casio rhythms for my CT-X700. Especially those from CTK-5000, CTK-810, and LK92tv LK92 rhythms are part of my childhood, very nostalgic. Especially the "JAZZ VOICE" used in the song "Long, Long Ago", and "SOUL BALLAD 1" used in "Annie Laurie". Both songs are found on 2000's Casio models
  8. I usually use EPiano 2 for the best Rhodes emulation If you want a more modern-sounding one, try Dyno EP. It sounds like the late 70s Rhodes. In addition, the GM EPiano 1 is good for more crisp and "older" tone, reminiscent of early 70s Rhodes
  9. Where can I download the 50 preset rhythms not present on CTK-6200? thanks
  10. Hi, I'm Pravito and I'm new here Recently I've been searching for a good entry level keyboard (for learning, practicing, travel and MIDI controller as well) and found the CTK 5200, the flagship of the low-end models How good is this keyboard? And what are the differences compared to the CTK-6200? Thanks
