I was trying to loop a part with the midi sequencer so I could play another part over it. Any time I set it up to loop the song, it has short gap at the end which sounds odd and throws off the count. I also tried an A-B repeat. Is there a way to do looping without gaps?

I recently got a Casio CTK-2400 keyboard as a gift; this particular model has a USB port on the back of it, presumably for porting your tunes out onto a computer. I'm wondering if there's a particular software that I should be using that is compatible with Casio keyboards. I'd like to be able to play something on the keyboard and maybe be able to arrange it/loop it/etc. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Hi, Not sure if I'm in the correct space. I'm looking to record a phrase that I can use as a base line. Need it to both loop and transpose as I'm playing. I can't seem to figure this out. Any help is appreciated. Thank you,

I generate a drum phrase 8 bars long in Cubase. I export that to a MIDI file (that re-imports exactly as it was intended). I convert the MIDI file using the DATA Editors Phrase Convert window "start at bar 1 and end at bar 9" with no other filters. I import the resulting .ZPH file into the PX-5S and turn on looping. No matter how I program the 8 bar phrase, the PX-5S puts a blank 4/4 bar where I want the .ZPH to loop. Any ideas folks? I've attached the MIDI file. The forum won't let me upload the .ZPH file for some reason. Pagliacci BrushRideOriginal.mid

Hey guys I have a question. Does the Casio Privia pro px5s have any way to create and play drum loops? I am asking this because our band does not have a drummer and i would like to get a keyboard that could play drum loops for some of the songs we do. Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated.
