Adrian Mitev
Hi all! I have a registration with Modern grand on the lower side and Lead guitar (hex sound) on upper. Everything is fine with this. I need to have a registration with the Lead guitar on the lower side and piano on the upper. However when I put the Lead guitar as lower tone it sounds different - more quite and somehow hollow and if I put it as upper the sound is fine. Idea what I'm doing wrong? Brad Saucier
It's most likely due to automatic removal of the DSP on the guitar tone. If the upper 1 tone is using DSP, any other tones will not have a DSP effect. The keyboard is only capable of one DSP effect at a time for upper and lower parts. You could try selecting a different piano tone, if that is indeed the case
Adrian Mitev
Thank you for your answer! I tried all the pianos on the upper tone but still no effect. If I use the piano as lower tone + the guitar in upper, the pianos sounds fine. Is there a way to check if the DSP is causing this somewhere in the menus? Brad Saucier
Yes, you can edit the tone and go to the effects, DSP editing to see if it's using an effect or set to "through". You could set it to through and save it as a user tone to remove the effect. I think you would have to reselect the guitar tone once that's done.
