Tears of a Clown - Smokey Robinson & The Miracles

Recommended Posts

From 1967 written by Stevie Wonder (I didn't know that prior to learning song).  Has a cool left hand piano stride.  Had to "Google" what the opening instrument was..........a bassoon.  8 midi tracks:

  1. Old Soul rhythm
  2. Grand Piano Concert
  3. Rock Piano
  4. Larrys Roadz (hex)
  5. Bassoon
  6. Trumpet 1
  7. Voice Doo
  8. Vent Lead

Yeah, can't go wrong with some Motown! That was a great musical renaissance back in the 60's! I grew up 5 miles away from Hitsville, U.S.A. in Deeetroit, Mich! There's always a great positive vibe from those songs. This is nice, Tsquare! But I can't help but wanna hear the Funk Brothers slammin' down the rhythm! Casio should produce a rhythm called Funk Brothers, eh?

Yes, thanks.  Funk Brothers musicianship is beyond me for sure. These songs have amazing hidden complexity with counter harmonies and rhythms popping in all over.  Hard to replicate without getting muddy.  I spend a lot of time trying to find the right sound out of the PX560s +750 tones.  Sound fiddling isn't my forte.
