Drummers Studio
I've done everything the manual asks to enable a USB Flash drive to load music to the CGP-700 and every time I receive a message saying "ERROR No File" I formatted the Flash Drive and saved all music into the file. I also checked the USB port for power and the power works fine. I've looked at the forums and have found no solution. I have two CGP-700 for my teaching practice and they are both saying the same thing. Can anyone help?
Brad Saucier
When you say "music", what do you mean? Are you trying to load MIDI files or WAV files?
Drummers Studio
WAV files. I downloaded Children’s piano songs from iTunes to the USB drives MUSICDAT folder. Then I put the USB drive into the CGP
Brad Saucier
I would start by trying to record some audio to the USB flash drive using the keyboards built in audio recorder. Does it record and playback okay? If that works fine, we can look towards the files you are downloading as the possible issue. Those need to be WAV files of the 16bit 44.1 kHz type. Other file types are not compatible.
