Micro for singing

Recommended Posts

Guys, I am musican and I've been playing the piano since I was 8y.o. Now I want to start singing too. I suppose it would be great combination of piano playing and singing. Here is my question - what micro should I take for this? I am not a proffecional but I still wanna good micro. No doubt. Thanks!

You know I used to sing for a while and I have been using blue yeti as the main micro of mine. Anyway only micro is not enough for that. You also need soundbox and micro stand ofcourse. About the last one I recommend you to check reviews and choose whatever you need

I use a condenser mic for recording. It requires 48V phantom power.

Normally the power is included in the audio adapter which also provides a USB audio interface.

Another option is a dynamic microphone.

The dynamic one does need addition power and it may have a built-in USB interface as blue yeti.

such mic as blue yeti will be sufficient.

If you wan to go with a condenser setup, check a bundle like "Focusrite Scarlett Solo Studio Recording Bundle"
