fearless
Just powered on my new PX S3000 and the polarity from my Roland sustain pedal is wrong. Is there a setting for this or do I need to buy another pedal? The supplied pedal will not do.Thanks
Rod Tompkins
You can use a Roland pedal for sustain with the PX-S3000, just not in the Damper jack. It will work in the Expression/Assignable jack if you're not already using it for something else. You'll need these 2 settings in the Function menu: Pedal/Wheel>EXPR/ASGN>Pedal Target>Damper Pedal/Wheel>EXPR/ASGN>Pedal Type>Exp. Type 2 Just tested this and it works! If your Roland pedal is like mine it has a TS plug, so you won't get half-damper capability, but you weren't going to get that with the Damper jack anyway.
fearless
Thanks Rod. I do use the assignable input for controlling upper 2 volume. Guess it's time to shell out a bit more money. Thanks again, Rod.
