JeanGoncalves
Hi Before buying a CT X-3000 I want to know if it is possible to step record a rhythm or to import an rhythm element from a CT X song or a midi song. In other words, is realtime recording the only way to record a rhythm ? I have download the doc and read step recording is possible in Song Mode but it seems this is not possible for recording rhythm. Likewise, is there a PC editor for rhythm ? Brad Saucier
Real-time is the only recording mode available for creating rhythms. You can import elements from other rhythms, but not from MIDI recorder songs. There is no dedicated rhythm editor for the CTX series, however some resourceful forum members have developed a rather interesting way to create rhythms using standard DAW sequencers and some Casio MIDI to rhythm conversion software. @Chandler Holloway could tell you more if you're interested. He wrote a detailed document about it.
JeanGoncalves
@Brad: Thank you for the quick response. (Have you links about these conversions from MIDI , software or discussions ?)
