midipiano
I'm wondering how you perceive the black glossy surface from the 1000 or 3000. Do you feel annoyed by it when you play, because you can see yourself like in a mirror? Or is it no problem at all?
Joe Muscara
I don't notice it like that at all. In fact, when I first got my Kawai grand, I thought the reflection of the keys and my hands on the fallboard would be distracting, but the fact is, I hardly ever notice it and I have to force myself to notice when I want to see what I'm doing in it.
havingfun
No problem at all for me. With a light positioned to illuminate sheet music on the music stand, any glare bounces sideways or back away from my eyes. Plus the blossy surface is easy to wipe clean.
