Ok  to continue with need for certain midi commands,

I can send midi codes to change patches (instruments) for all four regions Upper1/Upper2  as channet 1/2 etc....

but sometimes i have to use a performance registration where i have the instruments selected and the transpose say +4,, and i often increase or decrease the octives -1, -2 or +1 , +2 some different for each Upper1/Upper2/Lower1/Lower2,,

now if the next song gets different instruments,, i send those automatically, but the other settings described above remain as previous registration,, causes a lot of problems,, my work around has been to hit the GRAND PIANO BUTTON as a general reset at end of the song before

sending the midi codes for new patches.... Autoresume is off.

how can i reset the whole thing back to 'GRAND PIANO' OR General reset of keyboard (maybe not rebooting) using a midi code(s)

and then i can send my next set of instruments for next song...?

thanks

mike
