Computer loudspeakers for PX-5X White keyboard

Hi,

I'm considering to by a PX-5S keyboard, but will like be able to play aloud at home. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to use external computerloud speakers as keyboard loudspeakers and how this can be done?

My computer loudspeakers have only one mini-jack that can be used for connections but can I somehow make them play in stereo when recieving signal from the keyboard? As far I can see this will take that the mini-jack can be connected to the to outputs (left and right) from the keyboard. How can this be done? And please tell me if I'm wrong.

Finally, do I need any amplifier between the keyboard and the loud speakers to make the signal strong enough.

If you have any experience in connecting keyboard to loud speakers for computers please share your knowledge.

Agree with all this. I have a pair of Altec Lansing powered computer speakers-older setup with 1/8" stereo plug, and I use these for anything with stereo headphone jacks-can handle my DTXtreme digital drum setup and any of my Casios without being overdriven at pretty loud levels for a small studio room-but these are Altec Lansings-only 4" speakers but great sound. I'll post pics if anybody wants to see what these are.
