Claphesius
Thru the USB I'm recording the PX-160 directly to Mixcraft 8.1. The track is in stereo so my bass notes are in the left channel and treble in the right. Is there a setting so I can record the 160 in Mono? First time poster here. I appreciate your help. Brad Saucier
To be clear, are you using USB from the PX-160? This is MIDI only, not audio.
Claphesius
Yes, USB from PX-160 to my desk top. Thanks!
Brad Saucier
What is your sound source for the track? Is it a VST instrument?
Claphesius
The sound source is the default Acoustic Piano in Mixcraft 8.1 which is a VSTi. I found a work-around: in Mixcraft 8.1, I edited the Stereo Grand Piano by panning 100 to the right, then on the VI track I pan 50% left. That seems to center the complete keyboard range.
