PabloLascazas
Hello, I've been wanting to buy this digital piano and to learn how to play since I'm a beginner. I have a question, can i use a third party sustain pedal on it without having to buy the 3-pedal half-damper model? The 3-pedal one costs around 500 dollars here where I live. Chandler Holloway
Yes, you can use a third party sustain pedal. I would make sure that it is a switchable pedal like the M-Audio SP-2 to ensure compatibility, as the wiring of third party pedals can vary and some of them might not be compatible without the extra switch to toggle between normally open/normally closed configurations. The SP-20 is Casio’s officially supported piano-style single sustain pedal if you want to get something you know will work and you can’t find a third-party switchable pedal.
Patrick Doyle
Also, the keyboard comes with a sustain pedal... it doesn't come with the fancy SP-34 pedal, but it comes with a basic on/off pedal. --wpd
