Rhythm recording issues (# of beats, quantize)

Hello! I am trying to record a basic rhythm and have the following issues :

New user rhythm always defaulting to 5 beats per bar : After clearing the user beat and setting up my beats in the global (num:4 deno:1) and then through the rythm menu (meas: 1 beats 4:) and it's still coming back to 5 bars. I have had it work at 4 beats at some point but don't know why. Is it linked to the registration perhaps?

Quantize : I cannot get it to work correctly during recording. Mine has a 0-13 selection (0: off) and does not match the one from your other post which was 1-13 including D and T (1: off).

For rhythm beats, it looks like the beat starts a 0 and that I would have to set up the rhythm menu to beats:3 to obtain 4 beats.
Is this a bug? Does not seem normal. How is a beat starting at 0?

Same question with my quantize as my settings ranges do not match 0-13 vs 1-13.

Very good!! Is this in the manual?

Now can you please tell me how to ensure the proper drum set is maintained when I edit? It seems it defaults back to the first one after some back and forths.

Yes, it is in the manual under the section on recording rhythms.  I simply made a chart from the description in the manual.  As far as the drum set, I'm not what you mean by "some back and forths".

Can you please point out on which page is the table for beat values for rhythms? I really can't find it...sorry.

As for the back and forth, it looks like the default drum tone (765, standard1) comes out everytime I clear an element...looks like normal behaviour. Please confirm?

Quantize values for rhythms are described on page EN-81.  Beat settings for rhythms are described on page EN-76.

OK! You just saved me a week here! That is great!

I really think Casio should make it a bit clearer (especially the rhythm beats) or include an annex eventually.

I will be writing this down on a sheet for reference in any case.
