Midi files from pendrive

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm a newbie, I bought the CT-X3000. I formatted the flash drive in the keyboard. I copied the .mid file to the MUSICDAT folder, as well as the .cm2 file converted from the .mid file using "CASIO smf converter". I have shortened the file name to 2 characters. Every time after "LISTING" I have ERR NO FILE error.
What am I doing wrong?
BTW, what application do you recommend on the iPad for playing MIDI keyboard music with song lyrics?

Welcome to the forums!  The SMF converter is only for older Casio models.  CM2 files are not compatible with the CTX series.  It is possible to play MID files directly from USB file, but they cannot be loaded into the CT-X3000.  For details, see page EN-41 of the CTX users guide, playing back a song from a USB flash drive.
